এই হেতুকে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: “চোৱা, মই অমঙ্গল কৰিবলৈ এনে কি গোটেই যিহূদাক উচ্ছন্ন কৰিবলৈ তোমালোকৰ ফাললৈ মুখ কৰিম।

“所以万军之耶和华—以色列的 神如此说：我必向你们变脸降灾，以致剪除犹大众人。

“इस कारण इस्राएल का परमेश्वर, सेनाओं का यहोवा, यह कहता है: देखो, मैं तुम्हारे विरुद्ध होकर तुम्हारी हानि करूँगा, ताकि सब यहूदियों का अन्त कर दूँ।
“इसलिये इस्राएल के परमेश्वर, सेनाओं के याहवेह, की वाणी यह है, यह देख लेना, कि मैं तुम्हारे संकट के लक्ष्य से तुम्हारी ओर अभिमुख होने पर हूं, हां, सारे यहूदिया के सर्वनाश के लक्ष्य से.
