“The LORD of Armies, the God of Israel, says, ‘Because you have sent letters in your own name to all the people who are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah, the priest, and to all the priests, saying,

| «هَذَا مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرَّبُّ الْقَدِيرُ إِلَهُ إِسْرَائِيلَ: لَقَدْ بَعَثْتَ بِرَسَائِلَ بِاسْمِكَ إِلَى جَمِيعِ الشَّعْبِ الْمُقِيمِ فِي أُورُشَلِيمَ، وَإِلَى صَفَنْيَا بْنِ مَعْسِيَّا الْكَاهِنِ وَإِلَى سَائِرِ الْكَهَنَةِ قَائِلاً: |
‘ইস্ৰায়েলৰ ঈশ্বৰ বাহিনীসকলৰ যিহোৱাই এইদৰে কৈছে: যিৰূচালেমত থকা সকলো লোকলৈ, আৰু মাচেয়াৰ পুত্ৰ চফনিয়া পুৰোহিত আদি সকলো পুৰোহিতলৈ তুমি নিজৰ নামেৰে পত্ৰ পঠিয়াই কৈছা,
