| فَقَالَ إِرْمِيَا لِجَمِيعِ الرُّؤَسَاءِ وَكُلِّ الشَّعْبِ: «الرَّبُّ قَدْ بَعَثَنِي لأَتَنَبَّأَ عَلَى هَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ وَعَلَى هَذِهِ الْمَدِينَةِ بِكُلِّ الْقَضَاءِ الَّذِي سَمِعْتُمُوهُ. |

तब यिर्मयाह ने सब हाकिमों और सब लोगों से कहा, “जो वचन तुम ने सुने हैं, उसे यहोवा ही ने मुझे इस भवन और इस नगर के विरुद्ध भविष्यद्वाणी की रीति पर कहने के लिये भेज दिया है।
तब येरेमियाह ने सारे अधिकारियों तथा सारे जनसमुदाय को यह कहते हुए अपना प्रत्युत्तर दिया: “स्वयं याहवेह ने मुझे उन शब्दों में जिन्हें आप लोगों ने सुने हैं, इस नगर एवं भवन के विरुद्ध भविष्यवाणी करने का आदेश दिया था.
