The priests did not say, ‘Where is the LORD?’ and those who handle the law did not know me. The rulers also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal and followed things that do not profit.

| إِنَّ الْكَهَنَةَ لَمْ يَسْأَلُوا: أَيْنَ الرَّبُّ؟ وَأَهْلَ الشَّرِيعَةِ لَمْ يَعْرِفُونِي، وَحُكَّامَ الشَّعْبِ تَمَرَّدُوا عَلَيَّ، وَالأَنْبِيَاءَ تَنَبَّأُوا بِتَأْثِيرِ بَعْلٍ وَضَلُّوا وَرَاءَ مَا لاَ جَدْوَى مِنْهُ. |
‘এতিয়া যিহোৱা ক’ত’ বুলি তোমালোকৰ পুৰোহিতসকলে নক’লে, আৰু ব্যৱস্থাত পাৰ্গতলোকে মোক নাজানিলে, আৰু তোমালোককৰ পালকসকলেও মোৰ বিৰুদ্ধে অধৰ্ম-আচৰণ কৰিলে, আৰু ভাববাদীসকলেও বালৰ নামেৰে ভাববাণী প্ৰচাৰ কৰিলে আৰু অনুপকাৰী বস্তুৰ পাছত চলিলে।”

祭司都不说，耶和华在哪里呢？ 传讲律法的都不认识我。 官长违背我； 先知借巴力说预言， 随从无益的神。
