Isaiah 42:24
Who gave Jacob as plunder, and Israel to the robbers? Did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? For they would not walk in his ways, and they disobeyed his law.

| مَنْ أَسْلَمَ يَعْقُوبَ لِلنَّهْبِ، وَإِسْرَائِيلَ لِلسَّالِبِينَ؟ أَلَيْسَ هُوَ اللهُ الَّذِي أَخْطَأْنَا فِي حَقِّهِ؟ لأَنَّهُمْ أَبَوْا أَنْ يَسْلُكُوا فِي طُرُقِهِ وَأَنْ يُطِيعُوا شَرِيعَتَهُ. |
কোনে যাকোবক লোট আৰু কোনে ইস্ৰায়েলক ডকাইতৰ হাতত সমৰ্পণ কৰিলে? যি জনাৰ বিৰুদ্ধে আমি পাপ কৰিলোঁ, আৰু যিজনাৰ পথত লোকসকলে চলিবলৈ অমান্তি হ’ল, আৰু যিজনাৰ ব্যৱস্থালৈ লোকসকলে কাণ নিদিলে, সেই যিহোৱাই নহয় নে?

谁将雅各交出当作掳物， 将以色列交给抢夺的呢？ 岂不是耶和华吗？ 就是我们所得罪的那位。 他们不肯遵行他的道， 也不听从他的训诲。

τίς ἔδωκεν εἰς διαρπαγὴν Ιακωβ καὶ Ισραηλ τοῖς προνομεύουσιν αὐτόν οὐχὶ ὁ θεός ᾧ ἡμάρτοσαν αὐτῷ καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλοντο ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ πορεύεσθαι οὐδὲ ἀκούειν τοῦ νόμου αὐτοῦ
કોણે યાકૂબને લૂંટારાઓને સોંપ્યો છે તથા ઇઝરાયલને લૂંટનારાઓને સ્વાધીન કર્યો છે? જે યહોવાહની વિરુદ્ધ આપણે પાપ કર્યું છે તેમણે શું એમ કર્યું નથી? તેઓ તેમના માર્ગોમાં ચાલવાને રાજી નહોતા અને તેમના નિયમશાસ્ત્રનું કહેવું તેઓએ સાંભળ્યું નહિ.
