| והיה כחלום חזון לילה המון כל הגוים הצבאים על אריאל וכל צביה ומצדתה והמציקים לה׃ |
| וְהָיָה כַּֽחֲלוֹם חֲזוֹן לַיְלָה הֲמוֹן כָּל־הַגּוֹיִם הַצֹּבְאִים עַל־אֲרִיאֵל וְכָל־צֹבֶיהָ וּמְצֹדָתָהּ וְהַמְּצִיקִים לָֽהּ׃ |
| וְהָיָ֗ה כַּֽחֲלוֹם֙ חֲז֣וֹן לַ֔יְלָה הֲמוֹן֙ כָּל־הַגּוֹיִ֔ם הַצֹּבְאִ֖ים עַל־אֲרִיאֵ֑ל וְכָל־צֹבֶ֙יהָ֙ וּמְצֹ֣דָתָ֔הּ וְהַמְּצִיקִ֖ים לָֽהּ׃ |
और जातियों की सारी भीड़ जो अरीएल से युद्ध करेगी, और जितने लोग उसके और उसके गढ़ के विरुद्ध लड़ेंगे और उसको सकेती में डालेंगे, वे सब रात के देखे हुए स्वप्न के समान ठहरेंगे।
पूरे देश जिसने अरीएल से लड़ाई की यद्यपि वे सभी, जिन्होंने इस नगर अथवा इसके गढ़ों के विरुद्ध आक्रमण किया तथा उसे कष्ट दिया है, वे रात में देखे गए स्वप्न, तथा दर्शन के समान हो जाएंगे—
