They make promises, swearing falsely in making covenants. Therefore judgment springs up like poisonous weeds in the furrows of the field.

वे बातें बनाते और झूठी शपथ खाकर वाचा बाँधते हैं; इस कारण खेत की रेघारियों में धतूरे के समान दण्ड फूले फलेगा।
वे बहुत सी प्रतिज्ञाएं करते हैं, झूठी शपथ खाते हैं और सहमति बनाते हैं; इसलिये हल चलाये गये खेत में उगे जहरीले घास-पात के समान मुकदमे होने लगते हैं.
