He left all that he had in Joseph’s hand. He did not concern himself with anything, except for the food which he ate. Joseph was well-built and handsome.

অতএব পোটিফর তাঁর সবকিছু দেখাশোনার দায়িত্ব যোষেফের উপর ছেড়ে দিলেন; যোষেফ সেই দায়িত্ব সামলানোর সময়, তিনি যে যে খাবারদাবার খেতেন সেগুলি ছাড়া তিনি আর কোনো বিষয়ে চিন্তা করতেন না। যোষেফ শক্তপোক্ত ও সুদর্শন পুরুষ ছিলেন,

પોટીફારનું જે હતું તે સર્વ તેણે યૂસફના હાથમાં સોંપ્યું. તે જે અન્ન ખાતો તે સિવાય તેનું પોતાનું શું શું છે, એ કંઈપણ તે જાણતો નહોતો. યૂસફ સુંદર તથા આકર્ષક હતો.

इसलिए उसने अपना सब कुछ यूसुफ के हाथ में यहाँ तक छोड़ दिया कि अपने खाने की रोटी को छोड़, वह अपनी सम्पत्ति का हाल कुछ न जानता था। यूसुफ सुन्दर और रूपवान था।
इसलिये पोतिफर ने अपनी पूरी संपत्ति योसेफ़ को सौंप दी. पोतिफर अपने भोजन के अलावा किसी भी चीज़ पर ध्यान नहीं देता था. योसेफ़ सुंदर व रूपवान युवक थे,
