Genesis 34:5
Now Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah, his daughter; and his sons were with his livestock in the field. Jacob held his peace until they came.

હવે યાકૂબે સાંભળ્યું કે મારી દીકરી દીનાની સાથે તેણે બળાત્કાર કર્યો છે. તેના દીકરા ખેતરમાં જાનવરોની પાસે હતા, તેથી તેઓ આવ્યા ત્યાં સુધી યાકૂબ ચૂપ રહ્યો.

और याकूब ने सुना कि शेकेम ने मेरी बेटी दीना को अशुद्ध कर डाला है, पर उसके पुत्र उस समय पशुओं के संग मैदान में थे, इसलिए वह उनके आने तक चुप रहा।
जब याकोब को पता चला कि शेकेम ने उनकी पुत्री को दूषित कर दिया है, उस समय उनके पुत्र पशुओं के साथ मैदान में थे; इसलिये याकोब उनके लौटने तक शांत रहे.

E Giacobbe intese che [Sichem] avea contaminata Dina, sua figliuola; ed essendo i suoi figliuoli a' campi col suo bestiame, Giacobbe si tacque finchè fosser venuti.
Intanto Giacobbe aveva saputo che quegli aveva disonorato Dina, sua figlia, ma i suoi figli erano in campagna con il suo bestiame. Giacobbe tacque fino al loro arrivo.
Or Giacobbe udì ch’egli avea disonorato la sua figliuola Dina; e come i suoi figliuoli erano ai campi col suo bestiame, Giacobbe si tacque finché non furon tornati.
