Genesis 3:14
The LORD God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, you are cursed above all livestock, and above every animal of the field. You shall go on your belly and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

| فَقَالَ ٱلرَّبُّ ٱلْإِلَهُ لِلْحَيَّةِ: «لِأَنَّكِ فَعَلْتِ هَذَا، مَلْعُونَةٌ أَنْتِ مِنْ جَمِيعِ ٱلْبَهَائِمِ وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ وُحُوشِ ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ. عَلَى بَطْنِكِ تَسْعَيْنَ وَتُرَابًا تَأْكُلِينَ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكِ. |
| فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ الإِلَهُ لِلْحَيَّةِ: «لأَنَّكِ فَعَلْتِ هَذَا، مَلْعُونَةٌ أَنْتِ مِنْ بَيْنَ جَمِيعِ الْبَهَائِمِ وَمِنْ جَمِيعِ وُحُوشِ الْبَرِّيَّةِ، عَلَى بَطْنِكِ تَسْعَيْنَ، وَمِنَ التُّرَابِ تَأْكُلِينَ طَوَالَ حَيَاتِكِ، |

耶和华 神对蛇说： 你既做了这事，就必受咒诅， 比一切的牲畜野兽更甚； 你必用肚子行走， 终身吃土。

Toen zeide de HEERE God tot die slang: Dewijl gij dit gedaan hebt, zo zijt gij vervloekt boven al het vee, en boven al het gedierte des velds! Op uw buik zult gij gaan, en stof zult gij eten, al de dagen uws levens.
Toen sprak Jahweh God tot de slang: Omdat ge dit gedaan hebt, zijt ge vervloekt Onder alle tamme en wilde dieren; Op uw buik zult ge kruipen, Stof vreten uw leven lang.
Toen zeide de HEERE God tot die slang: Dewijl gij dit gedaan hebt, zo zijt gij vervloekt boven al het vee, en boven al het gedierte des velds! Op uw buik zult gij gaan, en stof zult gij eten, al de dagen uws levens.

καὶ εἶπεν κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῷ ὄφει ὅτι ἐποίησας τοῦτο ἐπικατάρατος σὺ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κτηνῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν θηρίων τῆς γῆς ἐπὶ τῷ στήθει σου καὶ τῇ κοιλίᾳ πορεύσῃ καὶ γῆν φάγῃ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας τῆς ζωῆς σου
યહોવાહ ઈશ્વરે સાપને કહ્યું કે, “તેં આ કૃત્ય કર્યું છે, તેથી તું સર્વ ગ્રામ્યપશુઓ તથા વનપશુઓની વચ્ચે હવે શાપિત છે. તું પેટે ચાલશે અને પોતાના જીવનના સર્વ દિવસો સુધી તારે ધૂળ ખાવી પડશે.

Đức Chúa Trời Hằng Hữu quở rắn: “Vì mày đã làm điều ấy, nên trong tất cả các loài gia súc và thú rừng, chỉ có mày bị nguyền rủa. Mày sẽ bò bằng bụng, và ăn bụi đất trọn đời.
