Genesis 20:5
Did not he tell me, ‘She is my sister’? She, even she herself, said, ‘He is my brother.’ I have done this in the integrity of my heart and the innocence of my hands.”

| أَلَمْ يَقُلْ هُوَ لِي: إِنَّهَا أُخْتِي، وَهِيَ أَيْضًا نَفْسُهَا قَالَتْ: هُوَ أَخِي؟ بِسَلَامَةِ قَلْبِي وَنَقَاوَةِ يَدَيَّ فَعَلْتُ هَذَا». |
| أَلَمْ يَقُلْ لِي إِنَّهَا أُخْتِي وَهِيَ نَفْسُهَا ادَّعَتْ أَنَّهُ أَخُوهَا؟ مَا فَعَلْتُ هَذَا إِلاَّ بِسَلاَمَةِ قَلْبِي وَطَهَارَةِ يَدَيَّ». |
Չէ՞ որ նա ասաց ինձ՝ «Իմ քոյրն է», իսկ սա ասաց ինձ՝ «Իմ եղբայրն է»: Ես մաքուր սրտով ու արդար ձեռքով արեցի դա»:
সেই লোকজনে জানো নিজেই মোক কোৱা নাছিল ‘তাই মোৰ ভনী’ বুলি? এনেকি সেই মহিলাগৰাকীয়েও কৈছিল, ‘তেওঁ মোৰ ককাই’ বুলি। মই মোৰ সৰল মনেৰে আৰু নির্দোষী হাতেৰেহে এই কাম কৰিলোঁ।”
O adam mənə “bu mənim bacımdır” demədimi? Qadın özü də “o mənim qardaşımdır” dedi. Mən bunu sadədillik və təmiz niyyətlə etdim».
সেই ব্যক্তি কি আমাকে বলেনি, এ আমার বোন? এবং সেই স্ত্রীও কি বলেনি, এ আমার ভাই? আমি যা করেছি, তা হৃদয়ের সরলতায় ও হাতের নির্দোষতায় করেছি।
সেই লোকটি কি আমাকে বলেননি, ‘এ আমার বোন’ আর মহিলাটিও কি বলেননি, ‘উনি আমার দাদা?’ বিশুদ্ধ এক বিবেক সমেত ও শুচিশুদ্ধ হাতেই আমি এ কাজ করেছি।”

那人岂不是自己对我说‘她是我的妹子’吗？就是女人也自己说：‘他是我的哥哥。’我做这事是心正手洁的。”
那人豈不是自己對我說『她是我的妹子』嗎？就是女人也自己說：『他是我的哥哥。』我做這事是心正手潔的。」
那男人不是對我說過「她是我的妹妹嗎﹖」連她自己也說「他是我的哥哥。」我做了這事，是出於心正手潔呀! 」

δεν μοι είπεν αυτός, Αδελφή μου είναι; και αυτή πάλιν, αυτή είπεν, Αδελφός μου είναι. Εν ευθύτητι της καρδίας μου και εν καθαρότητι των χειρών μου έπραξα τούτο.
οὐκ αὐτός μοι εἶπεν ἀδελφή μού ἐστιν καὶ αὐτή μοι εἶπεν ἀδελφός μού ἐστιν ἐν καθαρᾷ καρδίᾳ καὶ ἐν δικαιοσύνῃ χειρῶν ἐποίησα τοῦτο
શું ઇબ્રાહિમે પોતે જ મને કહ્યું ન હતું કે, ‘તે મારી બહેન છે?’ વળી તે સ્ત્રીએ પોતે પણ કહ્યું હતું કે, ‘તે મારો ભાઈ છે.’ મેં મારા સાચા હૃદયથી તથા નિર્દોષ હાથથી આ કામ કર્યું છે.”

क्या उसी ने स्वयं मुझसे नहीं कहा, ‘वह मेरी बहन है?’ और उस स्त्री ने भी आप कहा, ‘वह मेरा भाई है,’ मैंने तो अपने मन की खराई और अपने व्यवहार की सच्चाई से यह काम किया।”
क्या अब्राहाम ने मुझसे नहीं कहा, ‘वह मेरी बहन है,’ और क्या साराह ने भी नहीं कहा, ‘वह मेरा भाई है’? मैंने यह काम साफ विवेक और स्वच्छ मन से किया है.”
