Genesis 18:19
For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do righteousness and justice; to the end that the LORD may bring on Abraham that which he has spoken of him.”

| لأَنَّنِي قَدِ اخْتَرْتُهُ لِيُوْصِيَ بَنِيهِ وَأَهْلَ بَيْتِهِ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ كَيْ يَحْفَظُوا طَرِيقَ الرَّبِّ، عَامِلِينَ الْبِرَّ وَالْعَدْلَ، حَتَّى يُنْجِزَ الرَّبُّ مَا وَعَدَ بِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ». |
որովհետեւ ես գիտէի, որ նա իր որդիներին ու իր յետնորդներին կը պատուիրի, որ նրանք Տիրոջ ճանապարհով ընթանան՝ պահպանելով արդարութիւնն ու իրաւունքը: Տէր Աստուած կը կատարի այն ամէնը, ինչ խոստացել է Աբրահամին»:
মই তেওঁক মনোনীত কৰিলোঁ যেন তেওঁ নিজৰ সন্তান সকলক আৰু ঘৰৰ ভাবীসন্তান সকলক যিহোৱাৰ পথত চলিবলৈ, সৎ আৰু ন্যায় কার্য কৰিবলৈ আজ্ঞা দিয়ে আৰু যেন যিহোৱাই অব্ৰাহামক যি কথা ক’লে তাক সিদ্ধ কৰিব পাৰে।”

কারণ আমি তাকে মনোনীত করেছি, যেন যা উপযুক্ত ও ন্যায্য, তা করার মাধ্যমে সদাপ্রভুর পথে চলার ক্ষেত্রে সে তারপরে তার সন্তানদের ও তার পরিবারকে পথ দেখায়, ও যেন সদাপ্রভু অব্রাহামের কাছে যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছেন তা তিনি সফল করেন।

Denn ich habe ihn dafür erkoren, daß er seinen Kindern und seinem Hause nach ihm befehle, des HERRN Weg zu halten und zu tun, was recht und billig ist, damit der HERR auf Abraham bringe, was er ihm verheißen hat.

επειδή γνωρίζω αυτόν ότι θέλει διατάξει προς τους υιούς αυτού και προς τον οίκον αυτού, μεθ' εαυτόν, και θέλουσι φυλάξει την οδόν του Κυρίου, διά να πράττωσι δικαιοσύνην και κρίσιν, ώστε να επιφέρη ο Κύριος επί τον Αβραάμ τα όσα ελάλησε προς αυτόν.

મેં તેને પસંદ કર્યો છે તેથી તે તેના દીકરાઓને તથા તેના પછી થનાર તેના પરિવારને એવું સૂચન કરશે કે, તેઓ ન્યાયી થવા તથા ન્યાય કરવાને યહોવાહનો માર્ગ અપનાવે, તે માટે કે ઇબ્રાહિમ સંબંધી મેં જે કહ્યું છે, તે તેઓ પાળે.”

क्यूँकि मैं जानता हूँ कि वह अपने बेटों और घराने को जो उसके पीछे रह जाएँगे, वसीयत करेगा कि वह ख़ुदावन्द की राह में क़ाईम रह कर 'अद्ल और इन्साफ़ करें; ताकि जो कुछ ख़ुदावन्द ने अब्रहाम के हक़ में फ़रमाया है उसे पूरा करे।

Ta đã chọn Áp-ra-ham để người dạy dỗ con cháu và gia nhân vâng giữ đạo Ta, làm điều công chính và cương trực; nhờ đó, Ta có thể thực thi các lời Chúa Hằng Hữu đã hứa với Áp-ra-ham.”
