The law is not of faith, but, “The man who does them will live by them.”

Բայց Օրէնքը հաւատքէն չէ, հապա՝ “այն մարդը որ կը գործադրէ զանոնք՝ պիտի ապրի անոնցմով”:

律法原不本乎信,只说:“行这些事的,就必因此活着。”

To Chik owuon ok otenore kuom yie, nikech Muma wacho niya, “Ngʼat moluwo chikegi nobed mangima kuomgi.”

רואים אתם, אם כן, מה שונה הישועה מתוך אמונה מהישועה הנובעת מקיום כל מצוות התורה.

Tetapi hukum agama tidak didasarkan atas iman. Dalam Alkitab tertulis bahwa orang yang menjalankan hukum agama, akan hidup karena hukum itu.
Ketaatan pada hukum Taurat tidak ada hubungannya dengan mempercayai Allah. Kitab Suci hanya mengatakan, “Kamu akan hidup jika kamu mematuhi semua yang dituntut hukum Taurat.”
Tetapi dasar hukum Taurat bukanlah iman, melainkan siapa yang melakukannya, akan hidup karenanya.
Sedangkan hidup menurut hukum Taurat bukan atas dasar percaya, melainkan atas dasar perbuatan. Karena ada tertulis, “Hidup seseorang diberkati hanya jika perbuatannya sesuai dengan semua perintah dalam hukum Taurat.”
Ilagiilyo shanga lipumiie mu uhuili ku iti badala akwe, ''Niiza witumaa imakani aya ku malagiilyo, ukikie ku malagiilyo''.

しかし律法は、「信仰による。」のではありません。「律法を行なう者はこの律法によって生きる。」のです。

Vả, luật pháp vốn không phải đồng một thứ với đức tin, nhưng luật pháp có chép rằng: Người nào vâng giữ các điều răn thì sẽ nhờ đó mà sống.
Con đường đức tin khác hẳn con đường luật pháp, vì có lời chép: “Người nào vâng giữ luật pháp, thì nhờ đó được sống.”
