shall we again break your commandments, and join ourselves with the peoples that do these abominations? Would not you be angry with us until you had consumed us, so that there would be no remnant, nor any to escape?

এই সব কিছুর পরেও আমরা কি পুনরায় তোমার আদেশ অমান্য করে খারাপ কাজে লিপ্ত এই জাতিদের সঙ্গে সম্পর্ক করব? করলে তুমি কি আমাদের প্রতি এমন রাগ করবে না যে, আমরা লুপ্ত হব, আর আমাদের মধ্যে অবশিষ্ট কি রক্ষিত কেউ থাকবে না?

છતાં અમે તમારી આજ્ઞાઓનો અનાદર કરીને ફરી ધિક્કારપાત્ર કૃત્યો કરનાર લોકોની સાથે આંતરવિવાહ કરીએ શું? તો પછી શું તમે ફરી અમારા પર કોપાયમાન થઈને અમારો એવો વિનાશ નહિ કરો કે કોઈ પણ રહે નહિ અને બચે નહિ?

Thế mà chúng con còn dám phạm điều răn Chúa, kết thông gia với các dân tộc phạm những tội đáng tởm kia. Thế nào Chúa không giận, không tiêu diệt nốt những người còn lại?
Ǹjẹ́ ó yẹ kí àwa tún yẹ̀ kúrò nínú àṣẹ rẹ, kí a sì máa ṣe ìgbéyàwó papọ̀ pẹ̀lú àwọn ènìyàn tí wọn ti ṣe onírúurú ohun ìríra báyìí? Ṣe ìwọ kò ní bínú sí wa láti pa wá run tí kì yóò sẹ́ ku ẹnikẹ́ni tí yóò là?
