They sang to one another in praising and giving thanks to the LORD, “For he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever toward Israel.” All the people shouted with a great shout, when they praised the LORD, because the foundation of the LORD’s house had been laid.

| وَتَرَنَّمُوا بِالتَّسْبِيحِ وَالْحَمْدِ لِلرَّبِّ، لأَنَّهُ صَالِحٌ وَلأَنَّ رَحْمَتَهُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ تَدُومُ عَلَى إِسْرَائِيلَ. وَهَتَفَ الشَّعْبُ كُلُّهُ هُتَافاً عَظِيماً، تَسْبِيحاً لِلرَّبِّ مِنْ أَجْلِ إِرْسَاءِ أَسَاسِ بَيْتِ الرَّبِّ. |

Ils chantaient, célébrant et louant l’Éternel par ces paroles: Car il est bon, car sa miséricorde pour Israël dure à toujours! Et tout le peuple poussait de grands cris de joie en célébrant l’Éternel, parce qu’on posait les fondements de la maison de l’Éternel.

Et ils se répondaient en chantant, et en louant l'Éternel de ce qu'il est bon, et sa miséricorde éternelle envers Israël. Et tout le peuple acclama par une puissante acclamation à la louange de l'Éternel, la fondation de la Maison de l'Éternel.
Ils louaient le Seigneur et lui rendaient grâces tour à tour, parce qu'il est bon, parce que sa miséricorde envers Israël doit durer toujours. Et dans sa joie, tout le peuple, à grands cris, louait le Seigneur, à cause de la fondation du temple.
Ils entonnèrent des hymnes et des actions de grâces en l’honneur de l’Eternel, chantant "car il est bon; car sa bienveillance s’étend éternellement sur Israël". Et tout le peuple poussait de grandes acclamations, au moment où l’on rendait gloire à l’Eternel pour la fondation de son temple.

Und das ganze Volk erhob ein großes Jubelgeschrei beim Lobe Jehovas, weil der Grund zum Hause Jehovas gelegt wurde.
Und sie hoben einen Wechselgesang an mit Lob und Dank dem Jehova: denn er ist gütig, denn seine Güte währt ewiglich über Israel. Und das ganze Volk erhob ein großes Jubelgeschrei beim Lobe Jehovas, weil der Grund zum Hause Jehovas gelegt wurde.
Und sie stimmten an mit Lobpreis und mit Danksagung gegen Jahwe, daß er gütig ist, daß seine Gnade ewig über Israel waltet. Und das ganze Volk erhob ein lautes Jubelgeschrei, indem es Jahwe dafür pries, daß nun der Grund zum Tempel Jahwes gelegt war.

सो वे यह गा गाकर यहोवा की स्तुति और धन्यवाद करने लगे, “वह भला है, और उसकी करुणा इस्राएल पर सदैव बनी है।” और जब वे यहोवा की स्तुति करने लगे तब सब लोगों ने यह जानकर कि यहोवा के भवन की नींव अब पड़ रही है, ऊँचे शब्द से जयजयकार किया।
जब याहवेह के भवन की नींव रखी गई तब उनकी स्तुति का विषय था, “याहवेह भले हैं; तथा इस्राएल पर उनका अपार प्रेम सदाकाल का है.” उन्होंने अपने गीतों में स्तुति और आभार प्रकट किए. उपस्थित सारे समुदाय ने उनके गीतों पर बहुत ही ऊंचे शब्द में याहवेह का जय जयकार किया.

Mereka bersyukur kepada TUHAN dan menyanyi bersahut-sahutan, “TUHAN itu baik! Sesungguhnya kasih dan kesetiaan-Nya tetap ada bagi kita sampai selama-lamanya!” Seluruh rakyat bersorak dengan nyaring karena bersukacita melihat pondasi rumah TUHAN sudah diletakkan.
