But if the watchman sees the sword come and does not blow the trumpet, and the people are not warned, and the sword comes and takes any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at the watchman’s hand.’

| وَلَكِنْ إِنْ رَأَى الرَّقِيبُ الْعَدُوَّ مُقْبِلاً وَلَمْ يَنْفُخْ بِالْبُوقِ، فَلَمْ يَحْتَرِسِ الشَّعْبُ، فَأَقْدَمَ الْعَدُوُّ وَقَتَلَ نَفْساً مِنْهُمْ، فَالْقَتِيلُ قَدْ لاَقَى حَتْفَهُ جَزَاءَ ذَنْبِهِ، أَمَّا دَمُهُ فَمِنْ يَدِ الرَّقِيبِ أَطْلُبُهُ. |
কিন্তু প্ৰহৰীয়ে তৰোৱাল অহা দেখিও যদি শিঙা নবজায়, আৰু লোকসকলক সতৰ্ক হ’বলৈ সুযোগ নিদিয়ে, আৰু তৰোৱালে আহি তেওঁলোকৰ মাজৰ পৰা কোনো এজন লোকৰ প্রাণ লৈ, তেন্তে তেওঁ নিজৰ অপৰাধৰ কাৰণেই হ’ব, কিন্তু মই প্ৰহৰীৰ হাতৰ পৰা তেওঁৰ ৰক্তপাতৰ প্ৰতিশোধ ল’ম।’
Lakin gözətçi gələn qılıncı görüb şeypur çalmırsa, xalqa xəbərdarlıq edilmirsə və qılınc da gəlib onlardan birini həlak edirsə, o adam öz təqsirinə görə öldürülmüşdür, ancaq ölümünün məsuliyyətini gözətçinin üzərinə qoyaram.

কিন্তু সেই পাহারাদার যদি সৈন্যদলকে আসতে দেখেও লোকদের সতর্ক করবার জন্য তূরী না বাজায় এবং সৈন্যদল এসে একজনকে মেরে ফেলে, তাহলে বুঝতে হবে সেই মানুষ তার নিজের পাপের জন্যই মারা গেছে, কিন্তু তার মৃত্যুর জন্য আমি সেই পাহারাদারকে দায়ী করব।’

Mais que le guetteur, voyant venir le glaive, s’abstienne de sonner de la trompette et de mettre en garde le peuple, si le glaive survient et enlève quelqu’un d’entre eux, celui-ci aura été enlevé à cause de son péché, mais son sang, je le réclamerai du guetteur.
