‘Speak to the house of Israel, “The Lord GOD says: ‘Behold, I will profane my sanctuary, the pride of your power, the desire of your eyes, and that which your soul pities; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind will fall by the sword.

| أَبْلِغْ شَعْبَ إِسْرَائِيلَ: هَا أَنَا مُزْمِعٌ عَلَى تَنْجِيسِ مَقْدِسي فَخْرِ عِزِّكُمْ وَمُشْتَهَى أَعْيُنِكُمْ، وَبَهْجَةِ نُفُوسِكُمْ، فَيَتَهَاوَى أَبْنَاؤُكُمْ وَبَنَاتُكُمُ الَّذِينَ خَلَّفْتُهُمْ وَرَاءَكُمْ صَرْعَى بِالسَّيْفِ. |
‘তুমি ইস্ৰায়েল বংশক কোৱা, প্ৰভু যিহোৱাই এই কথা কৈছে: চোৱা! তোমালোকৰ বলদায়ক অহঙ্কাৰৰ স্থল, তোমালোকৰ চকুৰ তৃপ্তিজনক আৰু তোমালোকৰ প্ৰাণৰ আকাঙ্ক্ষিত বস্তু যি মোৰ ধৰ্ম–ধাম, তাক অপবিত্ৰ কৰি আছে! সেয়ে তোমালোকে এৰি যোৱা তোমালোকৰ পো-জীসকল তৰোৱালৰ দ্বাৰাই পতিত হ’ব।
