চোৱা! তোমাৰ ভনী চদোমৰ এই অপৰাধ আছিল: যে, তাইৰ আৰু তাইৰ জীসকলৰ অহংকাৰ, আহাৰৰ সম্পূৰ্ণতা আৰু নিশ্চিন্ততাযুক্ত সুখ আছিল; তাই দুখী দৰিদ্ৰৰ হাত সবল নকৰিছিল।

જો, તારી બહેન સદોમનાં પાપ આ પ્રમાણે હતાં: અભિમાન, આળસ તથા અન્નની પુષ્કળતા તથા જાહોજલાલીને લીધે તે તથા તેની દીકરીઓ અભિમાની થઈ ગઈ હતી. વળી તેઓ ગરીબોને કે દુ: ખીઓને કદી મદદ કરતી નહોતી.
