तब चाहे उसमें वे तीन पुरुष भी हों, तो भी प्रभु यहोवा की यह वाणी है, मेरे जीवन की सौगन्ध, न तो वे पुत्रों को और न पुत्रियों को बचा सकेंगे, वे ही अकेले बचेंगे।
तो मैं अपने जीवन की शपथ खाकर कहता हूं, परम प्रधान याहवेह की घोषणा है, चाहे यदि ये तीनों व्यक्ति भी वहां होते, वे अपने खुद के बेटे-बेटियों को भी बचा न पाते. वे अकेले ही बचते.

Dan sekalipun ketiga orang tadi tinggal di situ, maka demi Aku, Allah yang hidup, TUHAN Yang Mahatinggi, mereka tidak akan dapat menyelamatkan siapa saja, bahkan anak mereka sendiri pun tidak. Hanya mereka sendiri saja yang selamat.
dan biarpun di tengah-tengahnya berada ketiga orang tadi, demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, mereka tidak akan menyelamatkan baik anak-anak lelaki maupun anak-anak perempuan, tetapi hanya mereka sendiri akan diselamatkan.
