પછી હારુને બનાવેલા વાછરડાની પૂજા કરવા બદલ યહોવાહે લોકોને આકરી સજા કરી.

अतः यहोवा ने उन लोगों पर विपत्ति भेजी, क्योंकि हारून के बनाए हुए बछड़े को उन्हीं ने बनवाया था।
याहवेह ने लोगों के बीच एक महामारी भेजी, क्योंकि उन लोगों ने अहरोन से कहकर बछड़ा बनवाया था और उसकी उपासना की थी.

Kemudian TUHAN mendatangkan wabah penyakit pada bangsa Israel karena mereka sudah mendesak Harun untuk membuat patung tadi.
