you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,

| لاَ تَسْجُدْ لَهُنَّ وَلاَ تَعْبُدْهُنَّ، لأَنِّي أَنَا الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكَ، إِلَهٌ غَيُورٌ، أَفْتَقِدُ آثَامَ الآبَاءِ فِي البَنِينَ حَتَّى الْجِيلِ الثَّالِثِ وَالرَّابِعِ مِنْ مُبْغِضِيَّ، |
Չպիտի երկրպագես ու չպիտի պաշտես դրանց, որովհետեւ ե՛ս եմ քո Տէր Աստուածը՝ մի նախանձոտ Աստուած. հայրերի մեղքերի համար պատժում եմ որդիներին, ինձ ատող մարդկանց նոյնիսկ երրորդ ու չորրորդ սերնդին,
সেইবোৰৰ আগত তোমালোকে প্ৰণিপাত নকৰিবা, আৰু সেইবোৰক সেৱাপূজাও নকৰিবা; কাৰণ মই যিহোৱা, তোমালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ। মই ঈৰ্ষাম্বিত ঈশ্বৰ। মোক ঘৃণা কৰা লোকসকলৰ সন্তানসকলক তেওঁলোকৰ পিতৃসকলৰ অপৰাধৰ শাস্তি মই তৃতীয় চতুৰ্থ পুৰুষলৈকে দিওঁ।
Belə şeylərə səcdə qılaraq ibadət etmə. Çünki Mən, sənin Allahın Rəbb, qısqanc Allaham. Mənə nifrət edən ataların cəzasını üç-dörd nəslə qədər övladlarına çəkdirərəm.

তুমি তাদের কাছে প্রণাম কোরো না এবং তাদের সেবা কোরো না; কারণ আমি সদাপ্রভু তোমার ঈশ্বর, আমি ঈর্ষাপরায়ণ ঈশ্বর; আমি পূর্বপুরুষদের অপরাধের শাস্তি সন্তানদের উপরে দিই, যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে, তাদের তৃতীয় চতুর্থ পুরুষ পর্যন্ত দিই;

不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它，因为我耶和华—你的 神是忌邪的 神。恨我的，我必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；

You must not bow down to any idol and worship it, because I am Yahweh God, and I (am very jealous/want you to worship me only). I will punish those who sin and hate me. I will punish not only them, but I will punish (their descendants, down to the third and fourth generation/their children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren).

Bete sie nicht an und diene ihnen nicht. Denn ich, der HERR, dein Gott, bin ein eifriger Gott, der da heimsuchet der Väter Missetat an den Kindern bis in das dritte und vierte Glied, die mich hassen,

μη προσκυνήσης αυτά μηδέ λατρεύσης αυτά· διότι εγώ Κύριος ο Θεός σου είμαι Θεός ζηλότυπος, ανταποδίδων τας αμαρτίας των πατέρων επί τα τέκνα, έως τρίτης και τετάρτης γενεάς των μισούντων με·
