Exodus 17:1
All the congregation of the children of Israel traveled from the wilderness of Sin, starting according to the LORD’s commandment, and encamped in Rephidim; but there was no water for the people to drink.

| وَتَنَقَّلَ بَنُو إِسْرَائِيلَ عَلَى مَرَاحِلَ، مِنْ صَحْرَاءِ سِينَ بِمُقْتَضَى أَمْرِ الرَّبِّ إِلَى أَنْ خَيَّمُوا فِي رَفِيدِيمَ حَيْثُ لَمْ يَجِدُوا مَاءً لِلشُّرْبِ. |
Իսրայէլացի ամբողջ ժողովուրդը Տիրոջ կարգադրութեան համաձայն խումբ-խումբ գնաց Սին անապատից եւ կայք հաստատեց Ռափիդիմում: Այստեղ, սակայն, ջուր չկար, որ ժողովուրդը խմէր:

Bütün İsrail övladlarının icması Sin səhrasından yola düşüb Rəbbin buyurduğuna görə dayana-dayana köç edirdilər. Onlar Refidimdə düşərgə saldılar. Orada xalqın içməyə suyu yox idi.

সমগ্র ইস্রায়েলী জনসমাজ সদাপ্রভুর আদেশানুসারে এক স্থান থেকে আরেক স্থানে ভ্রমণ করতে করতে সীন মরুভূমি থেকে বের হয়ে এল। তারা রফীদীমে শিবির স্থাপন করল, কিন্তু সেখানে লোকজনের জন্য পানীয় জল ছিল না।
