Exodus 14:12
Is not this the word that we spoke to you in Egypt, saying, ‘Leave us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians’? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness.”

| أَلَيْسَ هَذَا هُوَ ٱلْكَلَامُ ٱلَّذِي كَلَّمْنَاكَ بِهِ فِي مِصْرَ قَائِلِينَ: كُفَّ عَنَّا فَنَخْدِمَ ٱلْمِصْرِيِّينَ؟ لِأَنَّهُ خَيْرٌ لَنَا أَنْ نَخْدِمَ ٱلْمِصْرِيِّينَ مِنْ أَنْ نَمُوتَ فِي ٱلْبَرِّيَّةِ». |
| أَلَمْ نَقُلْ لَكَ فِي مِصْرَ: دَعْنَا وَشَأْنَنَا فَنَخْدُمَ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ، إذْ كَانَ خَيْراً لَنَا أَنْ نَخْدُمَ الْمِصْرِيِّينَ مِنْ أَنْ نَمُوتَ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ». |
Մի՞թէ Եգիպտացիների երկրում քեզ չասացինք, թէ՝ «Թո՛յլ տուր, որ ծառայենք եգիպտացիներին»: Մեզ համար աւելի լաւ կը լինէր, որ ծառայէինք եգիպտացիներին, քան մեռնէինք այս անապատում»:

我们在埃及岂没有对你说过，不要搅扰我们，容我们服事埃及人吗？因为服事埃及人比死在旷野还好。”

οὐ τοῦτο ἦν τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐλαλήσαμεν πρὸς σὲ ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ λέγοντες πάρες ἡμᾶς ὅπως δουλεύσωμεν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις κρεῖσσον γὰρ ἡμᾶς δουλεύειν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις ἢ ἀποθανεῖν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ταύτῃ

क्या हम तुझ से मिस्र में यही बात न कहते रहे, कि हमें रहने दे कि हम मिस्रियों की सेवा करें? हमारे लिये जंगल में मरने से मिस्रियों कि सेवा करनी अच्छी थी।”
क्या हमने मिस्र में आपसे नहीं कहा था, ‘हमें यहीं रहने दीजिए, कि हम मिस्रियों की सेवा करते रहें’? इस निर्जन प्रदेश में मरने से अच्छा था कि हम मिस्रियों की सेवा करते रहते!”

ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿರುವಾಗಲೇ, ‘ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ಗೊಡವೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಡ. ನಾವು ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದಾಸರಾಗಿಯೇ ಇರುವೆವು’ ಎಂಬುದಾಗಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೇ. ನಾವು ಈ ಮರುಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯರಿಗೆ ದಾಸರಾಗಿರುವುದೇ ಮೇಲಲ್ಲವೇ” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Misirda turghan waqtimizda biz sanga: «Bizni misirliqlarning qulluqida bolushimizgha qoyghin, biz bilen karing bolmisun» dep éytmighanmiduq? Misirliqlarning qulluqida bolghinimiz chölge kélip ölginimizdin ewzel bolatti! — dédi.
Misirda turƣan waⱪtimizda biz sanga: «Bizni misirliⱪlarning ⱪulluⱪida boluximizƣa ⱪoyƣin, biz bilǝn karing bolmisun» dǝp eytmiƣanmiduⱪ? Misirliⱪlarning ⱪulluⱪida bolƣinimiz qɵlgǝ kelip ɵlginimizdin ǝwzǝl bolatti! — dedi.
