Then the king’s scribes were called in on the first month, on the thirteenth day of the month; and all that Haman commanded was written to the king’s local governors, and to the governors who were over every province, and to the princes of every people, to every province according to its writing, and to every people in their language. It was written in the name of King Ahasuerus, and it was sealed with the king’s ring.

On April 17th Haman summoned the king’s secretaries, and he dictated a letter to them that they [translated and] wrote to all the governors and administrators and other officials in all the provinces. They wrote copies of the letter in every language and every kind of writing/alphabet that was used in the empire. They wrote that all the Jews, [including] young people and old people, women and children, had to be killed on one day. That day was March 7th of the following year. They also wrote that [those who killed the Jews] could take everything that belonged to the Jews. [They signed] the king’s name [at the end of] the letters. Then they sealed the letters [with wax, and stamped the wax by] using the king’s ring. Then they sent the letters swiftly to every province in the empire,

Isinya ialah perintah bahwa pada tanggal tiga belas bulan Adar, seluruh bangsa Yahudi, baik tua maupun muda, baik wanita maupun anak-anak, harus dibunuh tanpa ampun, dan harta benda mereka disita.
Maka dalam bulan yang pertama pada hari yang ketiga belas dipanggillah para panitera raja, lalu, sesuai dengan segala yang diperintahkan Haman, ditulislah surat kepada wakil-wakil raja, kepada setiap bupati yang menguasai daerah dan kepada setiap pembesar bangsa, yakni kepada tiap-tiap daerah menurut tulisannya dan kepada tiap-tiap bangsa menurut bahasanya; surat itu ditulis atas nama raja Ahasyweros dan dimeterai dengan cincin meterai raja.
Maka pada tanggal tiga belas bulan pertama yaitu bulan Nisan, Haman memanggil para sekretaris negara untuk menulis surat keputusan yang ditujukan kepada semua pejabat di seluruh wilayah kekuasaan Raja Ahasweros. Salinan surat tersebut dibuat dalam setiap bahasa dan tulisan yang digunakan semua provinsi. Semua salinan surat itu disahkan atas nama Raja Ahasweros dan disegel dengan cincin meterai Raja. Sesudah itu dikirim ke seluruh wilayah kerajaan supaya semua orang mengetahui dan siap melaksanakan.

അങ്ങനെ ഒന്നാം മാസം പതിമ്മൂന്നാം തിയ്യതി രാജാവിന്റെ രായസക്കാരെ വിളിച്ചു; ഹാമാൻ കല്പിച്ചതുപോലെ ഒക്കെയും അവർ രാജപ്രതിനിധികൾക്കും ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലെ ദേശാധിപധികൾക്കും അതതു ജനത്തിന്റെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാൎക്കും അതതു സംസ്ഥാനത്തിലേക്കു അവിടത്തെ അക്ഷരത്തിലും അതതു ജനത്തിന്നും അവരുടെ ഭാഷയിലും എഴുതി; അഹശ്വേരോശ്രാജാവിന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ അതെഴുതി രാജമോതിരംകൊണ്ടു മുദ്ര ഇട്ടു.
പിന്നീട് ആദ്യമാസത്തിന്റെ പതിമ്മൂന്നാംദിവസം ഹാമാൻ എല്ലാ ലേഖകരെയും വിളിച്ചുവരുത്തി. അവർ രാജപ്രതിനിധികൾക്കും, വിവിധ പ്രവിശ്യകളിലെ ദേശാധിപതിമാർക്കും, ജനതകളുടെ പ്രഭുക്കന്മാർക്കും ഉള്ള ഹാമാന്റെ കൽപ്പന ഓരോ സംസ്ഥാനത്തിന്റെ ലിപിയിലും ഓരോ ജനതയുടെ ഭാഷയിലും എഴുതി. ഇവ അഹശ്വേരോശ് രാജാവിന്റെപേരിൽ എഴുതി മുദ്രമോതിരത്താൽ മുദ്ര ഇട്ടു.

ထိုအခါ ပဌမလတဆယ်သုံးရက်နေ့တွင်၊ စာရေးတော်ကြီးတို့ကို ခေါ်၍ ကိုယ်စားတော်မင်း၊ အပြည်ပြည်အုပ်သော မြို့ဝန်၊ အရပ်ရပ်စီရင်သော သူကြီးတို့ကို ဟာမန်မှာထားသမျှအတိုင်း၊ လူအမျိုးမျိုး ပြောသော စကားအသီးအသီးအားဖြင့် ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရု၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို စာရေး၍၊ ရှင်ဘုရင်၏ လက်စွပ်တော်နှင့် တံဆိပ်ခတ်လေ၏။
ထိုအခါ ပဌမ လ တဆယ် သုံး ရက် နေ့တွင် ၊ စာရေး တော်ကြီးတို့ကို ခေါ် ၍ ကိုယ်စားတော်မင်း ၊ အပြည်ပြည်အုပ်သော မြို့ဝန်၊ အရပ်ရပ်စီရင်သော သူကြီးတို့ကို ဟာမန် မှာ ထားသမျှ အတိုင်း ၊ လူ အမျိုးမျိုးပြောသော စကား အသီးအသီးအားဖြင့် ရှင်ဘုရင် အာရွှေရု ၏ အမိန့် တော်ကို စာကိုရေး ၍ ၊ ရှင်ဘုရင် ၏ လက်စွပ် တော်နှင့် တံဆိပ် ခတ်လေ၏။
