Ecclesiastes 8:12
Though a sinner commits crimes a hundred times, and lives long, yet surely I know that it will be better with those who fear God, who are reverent before him.
Edhe në qoftë se mëkatari bën njëqind herë të keqen dhe i zgjat ditët e tij, megjithatë, unë e di që do të kenë të mirën ata që kanë frikë nga Perëndia, që kanë frikë para tij.

| وَمَعَ أَنَّ الْخَاطِئَ يَرْتَكِبُ الشَّرَّ مِئَةَ مَرَّةٍ وَتَطُولُ أَيَّامُهُ، إِلاَّ أَنَّنِي أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ يَكُونُ خَيْرٌ لِمُتَّقِيِ اللهِ الَّذِينَ يَخْشَعُونَ فِي حَضْرَتِهِ. |
পাপী লোকে যদিও এশটা কুকৰ্ম কৰি দীৰ্ঘকাল জীয়াই থাকে, তথাপিও মই হ’লে নিশ্চয়কৈ জানো যে, ঈশ্বৰক যিসকলে ভয় কৰে, তেওঁলোকৰ মঙ্গল হ’ব; কাৰণ তেওঁলোকে ঈশ্বৰৰ সাক্ষাতে ভয়েৰে থিয় হয়।

এমনকি যদিও এক পাপী একশবার মন্দ কাজ করে এবং তবুও অনেক দিন বাঁচে, তাও আমি জানি যে এটা তাদের জন্য ভাল হবে যারা ঈশ্বরকে সম্মান দেয়, যারা সম্মান দেয় তাঁর উপস্থিতির তাদের সঙ্গে।
যদিও দুষ্টলোক একশোটি দুষ্কর্ম করে অনেক দিন বেঁচে থাকে তবুও আমি জানি ঈশ্বরকে যারা ভয় করে তাদের মঙ্গল হবে।

罪人虽然作恶百次，倒享长久的年日；然而我准知道，敬畏 神的，就是在他面前敬畏的人，终久必得福乐。

I grešnik koji čini zlo i sto puta, dugo živi. Ja ipak znam da će biti sretni oni koji se boje Boga jer ga se boje.
A ačkoli hříšník činí zle na stokrát, a vždy se mu odkládá, já však vím, že dobře bude bojícím se Boha, kteříž se bojí oblíčeje jeho.

Hoewel een zondaar honderd maal kwaad doet, en God hem de dagen verlengt; zo weet ik toch, dat het dien zal welgaan, die God vrezen, die voor Zijn aangezicht vrezen.
Maar al blijft soms de zondaar lange tijd leven, Ofschoon hij honderdmaal kwaad doet: Toch weet ik zeker, dat het hùn goed gaat, Die Gods aanschijn vrezen.
Hoewel een zondaar honderd maal kwaad doet, en God hem de dagen verlengt; zo weet ik toch, dat het dien zal welgaan, die God vrezen, die voor Zijn aangezicht vrezen.

mais, quoique le pécheur fasse cent fois le mal, et prolonge ses jours, je sais, moi, que le bonheur est pour ceux qui craignent Dieu, qui sont dans la crainte en sa présence.
Quand un pécheur commettrait cent fois des crimes, et qu'il vivrait longtemps, je sais cependant qu'il en sera de même pour ceux qui craignent Dieu, qui sont respectueux devant lui.

Celui qui une fois a péché, a fait le mal depuis lors, et longtemps. Et moi je sais que Dieu est bon pour ceux qui craignent en Sa présence.

Αν και ο αμαρτωλός πράττη κακόν, εκατοντάκις και μακροημερεύη, εγώ όμως γνωρίζω βεβαίως ότι θέλει είσθαι καλόν εις τους φοβουμένους τον Θεόν, οίτινες φοβούνται από προσώπου αυτού·

જો પાપી માણસ સેંકડો વખત દુષ્કર્મ કર્યા પછી પણ દીર્ઘાયુષ્ય ભોગવે છે, છતાં હું જાણું છું કે નિશ્ચે જેઓ ઈશ્વરનો ભય રાખે છે તેઓનું ભલું થશે.

Malgre yon pechè fè mal san fwa e mennen yon vi ki long, mwen toujou konnen ke sa prale byen pou sila ki gen lakrent Bondye yo, ki gen lakrent devan L yo.
Ko da yake mugu ya aikata laifi ɗari ya kuma yi tsawon rai, na san cewa zai fi wa masu tsoron Allah kyau, waɗanda suke girmama Allah.
Ina e hana ino ka mea hewa, pahaneri ka hana ana, a ua hooloihiia kona mau la, ua ike no au, ua pomaikai ka poe makau i ke Akua, ka poe makau imua ona.

चाहे पापी सौ बार पाप करे अपने दिन भी बढ़ाए, तो भी मुझे निश्चय है कि जो परमेश्वर से डरते हैं और उसको सम्मुख जानकर भय से चलते हैं, उनका भला ही होगा;
चाहे पापी हज़ार बार बुरा करें और अपने जीवन को बढ़ाते रहें, मगर मुझे मालूम है कि जिनमें परमेश्वर के लिए श्रद्धा और भय की भावना है उनका भला ही होगा, क्योंकि उनमें परमेश्वर के प्रति श्रद्धा और भय की भावना हैं.
Bár meghosszabbítja életét a bűnös, a ki százszor is vétkezik; mégis tudom én, hogy az istenfélőknek lészen jól dolgok, a kik az ő orczáját félik;
mivel a vétkes százszorta cselekszik rosszat és hosszúéletű – bár tudom én azt is, hogy jó dolguk lesz az istenfélőknek, mivel tőle félnek.

Meskipun seratus kejahatan dilakukan seorang berdosa, ia tetap hidup bahkan panjang umurnya. Konon, siapa taat kepada Allah, pasti hidupnya serba mudah.
Walaupun orang yang berdosa dan yang berbuat jahat seratus kali hidup lama, namun aku tahu, bahwa orang yang takut akan Allah akan beroleh kebahagiaan, sebab mereka takut terhadap hadirat-Nya.
Aku memperhatikan bahwa orang jahat bisa ratusan kali melakukan kejahatan berat, tetapi masih berumur panjang. Biarpun demikian, aku tetap yakin bahwa lebih baik kita takut dan hormat kepada Allah daripada meniru orang jahat.

Quantunque il peccatore faccia cento volte il male e pur prolunghi i suoi giorni, pure io so che il bene è per quelli che temono Dio, che provan timore nel suo cospetto.
罪を犯す者百次惡をなして猶長命あれども 我知る神を畏みてその前に畏怖をいだく者には幸福あるべし
罪びとで百度悪をなして、なお長生きするものがあるけれども、神をかしこみ、み前に恐れをいだく者には幸福があることを、わたしは知っている。
