Deuteronomy 6:2
that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you—you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

| وَبِذَلِكَ تَتَّقِي الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكَ وَتُمَارِسُ جَمِيعَ فَرَائِضِهِ وَوَصَايَاهُ الَّتِي أَنَا أُوصِيكَ بِهَا أَنْتَ وَابْنُكَ وَحَفِيدُكَ كُلَّ أَيَّامِ حَيَاتِكَ فَتَطُولُ أَيَّامُكَ. |

તેથી તું તથા તારો દીકરો તથા તારા દીકરાનો દીકરો તારા આખા જીવનભર યહોવાહ તારા ઈશ્વરનો ડર રાખીને તેમના સર્વ નિયમો અને આજ્ઞાઓ જે હું તમને કહું છું તે પાળો; જેથી તમારું આયુષ્ય લાંબું થાય.
