Deuteronomy 5:5
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the LORD’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up onto the mountain) saying,

| وَكُنْتُ أَنَا وَاقِفاً بَيْنَ الرَّبِّ وَبَيْنَكُمْ، لأَنَّكُمْ خِفْتُمْ مِنَ النَّارَ، فَلَمْ تَصْعَدُوا إِلَى الْجَبَلِ. فَقَالَ الرَّبُّ: |
সেই সময়ত জুইৰ ভয়ত আপোনালোকে পর্বতৰ ওপৰলৈ উঠা নাছিল বাবে মই আপোনালোকৰ আৰু যিহোৱাৰ মাজত থিয় হৈ তেওঁৰ কথা আপোনালোকৰ আগত প্রকাশ কৰিছিলোঁ। তেতিয়া যিহোৱাই কৈছিল:
O zaman Rəbbin sözünü izah etmək üçün sizinlə Rəbbin arasında mən dayanmışdım. Alovdan qorxduğunuza görə dağa çıxmadınız.
সেই দিনের আমিই তোমাদেরকে সদাপ্রভুর কথা জানানোর জন্য সদাপ্রভু ও তোমাদের মধ্যে দাঁড়িয়ে ছিলাম; কারণ তোমরা আগুনকে ভয় পেয়েছিলে এবং তোমরা পর্বতে ওঠনি। তিনি বললেন,
(সেই সময় আমিই তোমাদের সদাপ্রভুর কথা প্রকাশ করার জন্য সদাপ্রভুর ও তোমাদের মাঝে দাঁড়িয়েছিলাম, কেননা তোমরা আগুনের ভয়ে পাহাড়ের উপর ওঠোনি।) এবং তিনি বললেন:

那时我站在耶和华和你们中间，要将耶和华的话传给你们；因为你们惧怕那火，没有上山—说：

Jeg stod imellem Herren og eder paa den samme Tid, at give eder Herrens Ord til Kende; thi I frygtede for Ilden og gik ikke op paa Bjerget, og han sagde:
Jeg stod dengang som Mellemmand mellem HERREN og eder og kundgjorde eder HERRENS Ord; thi I var bange for Ilden og turde ikke stige op paa Bjerget.

(Ik stond te dier tijd tussen den HEERE en tussen u, om u des HEEREN woord aan te zeggen; want gij vreesdet voor het vuur en klomt niet op den berg) zeggende:
ik stond toen slechts tussen Jahweh en u, om u het woord van Jahweh over te brengen, omdat gij bevreesd waart voor het vuur, en de berg niet hadt durven bestijgen. Toen sprak Hij:
(Ik stond te dier tijd tussen den HEERE en tussen u, om u des HEEREN woord aan te zeggen; want gij vreesdet voor het vuur en klomt niet op den berg) zeggende:
(I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the word of Jehovah, for ye were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up onto the mount), saying,
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the LORD’s word; for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up onto the mountain) saying,
(I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the word of Jehovah: for ye were afraid because of the fire, and went not up into the mount), saying,
At that time I was standing between the LORD and you to declare to you the word of the LORD, because you were afraid of the fire and would not go up the mountain. And He said:
(I was between the Lord and you at that time, to make clear to you the word of the Lord: because, through fear of the fire, you did not go up the mountain; ) saying,
And I stood between the Lord and you at that time to report to you the words of the Lord, (because ye were afraid before the fire, and ye went not up to the mountain) saying,
And I stood between the Lord and you at that time to report to you the words of the Lord, (because you were afraid before the fire, and you went not up to the mountain) saying,
I was the mediator, for I was in the middle between the Lord and you, at that time, to announce his words to you. For you were afraid of the fire, and so you did not ascend to the mountain. And he said:
(I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to declare to you the word of Jehovah; for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up to the mountain), saying,
I was the mediator and stood between the Lord and you at that time, to shew you his words, for you feared the fire, and went not up into the mountain, and he said:
This was the time when I stood between the Lord and you to tell you what the Lord said, because you were afraid of the fire and refused to go up the mountain. He told you,
(At that time I stoode betweene the Lord and you, to declare vnto you ye word of the Lord: for ye were afraid at the sight of the fire, and went not vp into the mount, and he said,
I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to declare unto you the word of the LORD; for ye were afraid because of the fire, and went not up into the mount — saying:
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to shew you the word of the LORD: for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and went not up into the mount; ) saying,

And I stood between the Lord and you at that time to report to you the words of the Lord, (because you were afraid before the fire, and you went not up to the mountain) saying,
(I was standing between the Lord and between you at that time, to announce to you the word of the Lord; for ye were afraid by reason of the fire, and ye went not up into the mount; ) saying,
I am standing between YHWH and you, at that time, to declare the word of YHWH to you, for you have been afraid from the presence of the fire, and you have not gone up into the mountain; for [He] says:
(I stood between the LORD and you at that time, to show you the words of the LORD: for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up onto the mountain; ) saying,
(I stood between Jehovah and you at that time, to show you the words of Jehovah: for you were afraid because of the fire, and did not go up onto the mountain; ) saying,

(I was standing between Yahweh and you, at that time, to declare unto you the word of Yahweh, —for ye shrank with fear from the presence of the fire, and went not up in the mount) saying: —
I [was] standing between Yahweh and between you at the time that to declare to you [the] word of Yahweh for you were afraid of the fire and not you went up on the mountain saying.

On that day, I stood between your ancestors and Yahweh to tell them what he said, because they were afraid of the fire, and they did not climb up the mountain. This is what Yahweh said:

(moi, je me tenais en ce temps-là entre l’Éternel et vous, pour vous déclarer la parole de l’Éternel, car vous aviez peur à cause du feu et vous n’êtes point montés sur la montagne), disant:
Je me tenais en ce temps-là entre l'Eternel et vous, pour vous rapporter la parole de l'Eternel; parce que vous aviez peur de ce feu, vous ne montâtes point sur la montagne, [et le Seigneur] dit:
Je fus alors l’entremetteur et le médiateur entre le Seigneur et vous, pour vous annoncer ses paroles. Car vous appréhendiez ce grand feu, et vous n’êtes point montés sur la montagne; et il dit:
Je me tins alors entre l’Éternel et vous, pour vous annoncer la parole de l’Éternel; car vous aviez peur du feu, et vous ne montâtes point sur la montagne. Il dit:
— Je me tenais alors entre Yahweh et vous, pour rapporter sa parole; car vous aviez peur du feu, et vous ne montâtes pas sur la montagne. — Il dit:
Je me tenais en ce temps-là entre l'Éternel et vous, pour vous rapporter la parole de l'Éternel; car vous eûtes peur du feu, et vous ne montâtes point sur la montagne. Il dit:
J'étais alors intermédiaire entre l'Éternel et vous, pour vous transmettre la parole de l'Éternel, car vous eûtes peur à l'aspect du feu et vous ne montâtes point sur la montagne. Et Il dit:
Et moi, en ce temps-là, je me tenais entre le Seigneur et vous, pour vous rapporter les paroles du Seigneur; car vous étiez épouvantés à l'aspect du feu, et vous ne montiez point sur la montagne; et le Seigneur a dit:
Moi, je me tenais, en ce temps-là, entre l’Éternel et vous, pour vous exposer la parole de l’Éternel, parce que, terrifiés par la flamme, vous n’approchâtes point de la montagne; et il disait:
Ich selber stand damals zwischen dem Herrn und euch, des Herrn Wort euch zu künden; denn ihr habt euch vor dem Feuer gefürchtet und seid nicht auf den Berg gestiegen. Er sprach:
ich stand zwischen Jehova und euch in selbiger Zeit, um euch das Wort Jehovas zu verkünden; denn ihr fürchtetet euch vor dem Feuer und stieget nicht auf den Berg, -indem er sprach:

Ich stund zu derselben Zeit zwischen dem HERRN und euch, daß ich euch ansagte des HERRN Wort; denn ihn fürchtetet euch vor dem Feuer und ginget nicht auf den Berg. Und er sprach:

Ich stand zu derselben Zeit zwischen dem HERRN und euch, um euch des HERRN Worte zu verkündigen; denn ihr fürchtetet euch vor dem Feuer und ginget nicht auf den Berg. Und er sprach:
Ich stand zwischen Jehovah und zwischen euch zu jener Zeit, um euch das Wort Jehovahs anzusagen; denn ihr fürchtetet euch vor dem Feuer und stiegt nicht auf den Berg. Und Er sprach:
(Hĩndĩ ĩyo niĩ ndarũgamĩte gatagatĩ kanyu na Jehova nĩguo ndĩmwĩre ũhoro wa Jehova, nĩ tondũ nĩmwetigagĩra mwaki ũcio, na mũtiigana kwambata kĩrĩma igũrũ.) Nake akĩmwĩra atĩrĩ:
εγώ δε εστεκόμην μεταξύ του Κυρίου και υμών κατ' εκείνον τον καιρόν, διά να σας φανερώσω τον λόγον του Κυρίου· διότι ήσθε πεφοβισμένοι εξ αιτίας του πυρός και δεν ανέβητε εις το όρος, λέγων.
κἀγὼ εἱστήκειν ἀνὰ μέσον κυρίου καὶ ὑμῶν ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ ἀναγγεῖλαι ὑμῖν τὰ ῥήματα κυρίου ὅτι ἐφοβήθητε ἀπὸ προσώπου τοῦ πυρὸς καὶ οὐκ ἀνέβητε εἰς τὸ ὄρος λέγων
તે સમયે યહોવાહનું વચન તમને સંભળાવવા હું તમારી અને યહોવાહની મધ્યે ઊભો રહ્યો હતો, કેમ કે, તમને અગ્નિથી ભય લાગતો હતો અને તમે પર્વત પર ગયા ન હતા. યહોવાહે કહ્યું.

| אנכי עמד בין יהוה וביניכם בעת ההוא להגיד לכם את דבר יהוה כי יראתם מפני האש ולא עליתם בהר לאמר |
| אָ֠נֹכִי עֹמֵ֨ד בֵּין־יְהוָ֤ה וּבֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔וא לְהַגִּ֥יד לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־דְּבַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י יְרֵאתֶם֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הָאֵ֔שׁ וְלֹֽא־עֲלִיתֶ֥ם בָּהָ֖ר לֵאמֹֽר׃ ס |
| אָנֹכִי עֹמֵד בֵּין־יְהֹוָה וּבֵֽינֵיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לְהַגִּיד לָכֶם אֶת־דְּבַר יְהֹוָה כִּי יְרֵאתֶם מִפְּנֵי הָאֵשׁ וְלֹֽא־עֲלִיתֶם בָּהָר לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| אנכי עמד בין יהוה וביניכם בעת ההוא להגיד לכם את דבר יהוה כי יראתם מפני האש ולא עליתם בהר לאמר׃ |
| אָנֹכִי עֹמֵד בֵּין־יְהוָה וּבֵֽינֵיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִוא לְהַגִּיד לָכֶם אֶת־דְּבַר יְהוָה כִּי יְרֵאתֶם מִפְּנֵי הָאֵשׁ וְלֹֽא־עֲלִיתֶם בָּהָר לֵאמֹֽר׃ |
| אָ֠נֹכִי עֹמֵ֨ד בֵּין־יְהוָ֤ה וּבֵֽינֵיכֶם֙ בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֔וא לְהַגִּ֥יד לָכֶ֖ם אֶת־דְּבַ֣ר יְהוָ֑ה כִּ֤י יְרֵאתֶם֙ מִפְּנֵ֣י הָאֵ֔שׁ וְלֹֽא־עֲלִיתֶ֥ם בָּהָ֖ר לֵאמֹֽר׃ ס |
उस आग के डर के मारे तुम पर्वत पर न चढ़े, इसलिए मैं यहोवा के और तुम्हारे बीच उसका वचन तुम्हें बताने को खड़ा रहा। तब उसने कहा,
उस अवसर पर मैं याहवेह और तुम्हारे बीच खड़ा हुआ था. तुम तो निकट आने के विचार से ही डर गए थे, तब मैं तुम्हारे लिए याहवेह की बातों को स्पष्ट करते हुए घोषित करता जा रहा था. आग के भय से तुम ऊपर नहीं जाना चाह रहे थे. याहवेह ने कहा था:

– én álltam az Örökkévaló közt és ti köztetek abban az időben, hogy kijelentsem nektek az Örökkévaló szavát, mert ti féltetek a tűztől és nem mentetek föl a hegyre, – mondván:
E guzoro m nʼetiti unu na Onyenwe anyị mgbe ahụ, ikwupụtara unu okwu Onyenwe anyị, nʼihi na unu tụrụ egwu ọkụ ahụ, unu arịgoghịkwa nʼugwu ahụ. Ọ sịrị:
(Nagtakderak iti nagbaetanyo kenni Yahweh iti dayta a tiempo, tapno ipakaammok kadakayo ti saona; ta mabutengkayo gapu iti apuy, ket saankayo a simmang-at iti bantay). Kinuna ni Yahweh,
Tetapi karena kamu takut kepada api dan tidak berani mendaki gunung, maka saya pada waktu itu berdiri di antara kamu dengan TUHAN untuk menyampaikan perkataan TUHAN kepadamu. TUHAN memaklumkan,
aku pada waktu itu berdiri antara TUHAN dan kamu untuk memberitahukan firman TUHAN kepadamu, sebab kamu takut kepada api dan kamu tidak naik ke gunung--dan Ia berfirman:
Waktu itu, saya menjadi perantara untuk menyampaikan perkataan TUHAN kepada kalian, karena kalian takut terhadap api itu dan tidak mau naik ke atas gunung. Dia berkata,

その時我はヱホバと汝らの間にたちてヱホバの言を汝らに傳へたり汝ら火に懼れて山にのぼり得ざりければなり
