Deuteronomy 4:11
You came near and stood under the mountain. The mountain burned with fire to the heart of the sky, with darkness, cloud, and thick darkness.

| فَتَقَدَّمْتُمْ وَوَقَفْتُمْ عِنْدَ سَفْحِ الْجَبَلِ الْمُشْتَعِلِ بِنَارٍ امْتَدَّتْ أَلْسِنَةُ لَهَبِهَا إِلَى كَبِدِ السَّمَاءِ، وَتَلَفَّعَتْ بِسُحُبٍ دَاكِنَةٍ وَضَبَابٍ. |
সেয়ে আপোনালোকে ওচৰ চাপি আহি সেই পৰ্বতটোৰ তলত থিয় হৈছিল। তেতিয়া পৰ্বতটোত জুই জ্বলিছিল আৰু সেই জুই আকাশ পর্যন্ত প্রসাৰিত হৈছিল; ক’লা ঘন মেঘ আৰু ঘোৰ অন্ধকাৰে পর্বতটো জুৰি পেলাইছিল।

তাতে তোমরা কাছে এসে পর্বতের পাদদেশে দাঁড়িয়েছিলে এবং আকাশের ভিতর পর্যন্ত সেই পর্বত আগুনে জ্বলছিল, অন্ধকার, মেঘ ও ঘন অন্ধকার ছড়িয়ে ছিল।
তোমরা কাছে এসে পাহাড়ের নিচে দাঁড়িয়েছিলে, তখন পাহাড়টি মেঘ ও ঘন অন্ধকারে ঘেরা ছিল আর তার মধ্যে সেটি স্বর্গ পর্যন্ত জ্বলছিল।

Et vous vous teniez au pied de la montagne, et la montagne était enflammée jusqu'au ciel, et il y avait alentour obscurité, ténèbres, tempête.
Vous vous approchâtes alors, et vous fîtes halte au pied de la montagne; et la montagne était embrasée de feux qui s’élevaient jusqu’au ciel, et voilée de nuages et de brume.

તેથી તમે આવીને પર્વતની તળેટી નજીક ઊભા રહ્યા અને પર્વત અગ્નિથી બળતો હતો અને જ્વાળાઓ આકાશ સુધી પહોંચતી હતી. ત્યારે વાદળ તથા ઘોર અંધકાર સર્વત્ર વ્યાપી ગયાં હતાં.

तब तुम समीप जाकर उस पर्वत के नीचे खड़े हुए, और वह पहाड़ आग से धधक रहा था, और उसकी लौ आकाश तक पहुँचती थी, और उसके चारों ओर अंधियारा और बादल, और घोर अंधकार छाया हुआ था।
तुम सब पास आकर पर्वत के नीचे इकट्ठा हो गए. पर्वत पर आग की लपटें आकाश चूम रही थीं. हर जगह अंधकार, मेघ और घना धुआं फैल चुका था.

ಆ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದು ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಬುಡದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿರಲು ಕತ್ತಲೂ, ಮೋಡವೂ, ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲೂ ಕವಿದು ಆ ಬೆಟ್ಟವು ಆಕಾಶದ ತುದಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಉರಿಯಿತು.
