Deuteronomy 24:1
When a man takes a wife and marries her, then it shall be, if she finds no favor in his eyes because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a certificate of divorce, put it in her hand, and send her out of his house.
“Kur një njeri merr një grua dhe martohet me të, dhe më vonë ndodh që ajo nuk e kënaq më, sepse ai ka gjetur në të diçka të turpshme, le të shkruajë një shkresë ndarjeje, t’ia japë në dorë dhe ta dëbojë nga shtëpia e saj;
| «إِذَا أَخَذَ رَجُلٌ ٱمْرَأَةً وَتَزَوَّجَ بِهَا، فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ نِعْمَةً فِي عَيْنَيْهِ لِأَنَّهُ وَجَدَ فِيهَا عَيْبَ شَيْءٍ، وَكَتَبَ لَهَا كِتَابَ طَلَاقٍ وَدَفَعَهُ إِلَى يَدِهَا وَأَطْلَقَهَا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ، |
| إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ فَتَاةٍ وَلَمْ تَرُقْ لَهُ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لأَنَّهُ اكْتَشَفَ فِيهَا عَيْباً مَا، وَأَعْطَاهَا كِتَابَ طَلاقٍ وَصَرَفَهَا مِنْ بَيْتِهِ، |
কোনো পুৰুষে কোনো যুৱতীক বিয়া কৰাৰ পাছত, যদি তাইত কোনো দোষ পোৱাৰ কাৰণে, তাই তেওঁৰ দৃষ্টিত অনুগ্ৰহ নাপায়, তেন্তে সেই পুৰুষে এখন ত্যাগ-পত্ৰ লিখি তাইৰ হাতত দিব আৰু তাইক নিজ ঘৰৰ পৰা বিদায় দিব পাৰিব।
Kimsə bir qadını alıb, evlilik zamanı onda ləyaqətsiz bir şey tapdığı üçün qadını bəyənməzsə, talaq kağızı yazıb əlinə verərək evindən çıxararsa,
কোনো লোক কোনো স্ত্রীকে গ্রহণ করে বিয়ে করার পর যদি তাতে কোনো ধরনের অনুপযুক্ত ব্যবহার দেখতে পায়, আর সেই জন্য সে স্ত্রী তার দৃষ্টিতে প্রীতিপাত্র না হয়, তবে সেই লোক তার জন্য এক ত্যাগপত্র লিখে তার হাতে দিয়ে নিজের বাড়ি থেকে তাকে বিদায় করতে পারবে।
বিয়ে করার পরে যদি কেউ তার স্ত্রীর মধ্যে কোনও দোষ দেখে তার উপর অসন্তুষ্ট হয়, আর ত্যাগপত্র লিখে তার হাতে দিয়ে তাকে বাড়ি থেকে বিদায় করে দেয়,

“人若娶妻以后，见她有什么不合理的事，不喜悦她，就可以写休书交在她手中，打发她离开夫家。

Wanneer een man een vrouw zal genomen en die getrouwd hebben, zo zal het geschieden, indien zij geen genade zal vinden in zijn ogen, omdat hij iets schandelijks aan haar gevonden heeft, dat hij haar een scheidbrief zal schrijven, en in haar hand geven, en ze laten gaan uit zijn huis.

Όταν τις λάβη γυναίκα και νυμφευθή μετ' αυτής, και συμβή να μη εύρη χάριν εις τους οφθαλμούς αυτού, διότι εύρηκεν εν αυτή άσχημον πράγμα, τότε ας γράψη εις αυτήν γράμμα διαζυγίου, και ας δώση αυτό εις την χείρα αυτής, και ας αποπέμψη αυτήν εκ της οικίας αυτού.
