Deuteronomy 23:20
You may charge a foreigner interest; but you shall not charge your brother interest, that the LORD your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.
Të huajit mund t’i japësh hua me kamatë, por jo vëllait tënd, me qëllim që Zoti, Perëndia yt, të të bekojë në të gjitha gjërat mbi të cilat do të vësh dorë në vendin ku je duke hyrë për ta pushtuar.

| أَمَّا الأَجْنَبِيُّ فَأَقْرِضُوهُ بِرِباً. إِنَّمَا إِيَّاكُمْ إِقْرَاضَ أَخِيكُمْ بِفَائِدَةٍ، لِيُبَارِكَكُمُ الرَّبُّ إِلَهُكُمْ فِي كُلِّ مَا تُنْتِجُهُ أَيْدِيكُمْ فِي الأَرْضِ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ مَاضُونَ لاِمْتِلاَكِهَا. |
অন্য জাতিৰ লোকসকলৰ পৰা আপোনালোকে ধাৰ দি সুদ ল’ব পাৰে, কিন্তু, কোনো ইস্রায়েলীয়া ভাইৰ পৰা নোৱাৰে। এইদৰে চলিলে আপোনালোকে যি দেশ অধিকাৰ কৰিবলৈ গৈছে, সেই দেশত আপোনালোকে যিহতে হাত দিব, সকলো কাৰ্যতে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই আপোনালোকক আশীৰ্ব্বাদ কৰিব।
Yadellidənsə faiz ala bilərsiniz, amma soydaşlarınızdan almayın ki, Allahınız Rəbb mülk olaraq almaq üçün gedəcəyiniz torpaqda əl atdığınız hər işə xeyir-dua versin.
সুদের জন্য বিদেশীকে ঋণ দিতে পার, কিন্তু সুদের জন্য নিজের ভাইকে ঋণ দেবে না; যেন তুমি যে দেশ অধিকার করতে যাচ্ছ, সে দেশে তোমার হাতে করা সব কাজে তোমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে আশীর্বাদ করেন।
তোমরা বিদেশির কাছ থেকে সুদ নিতে পারো, কিন্তু ইস্রায়েলী ভাইয়ের কাছ থেকে নয়, যেন তোমরা যে দেশ অধিকার করতে যাচ্ছ, সেই দেশে তোমরা যাতে হাত দেবে তাতেই তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের আশীর্বাদ করেন।

પરંતુ પરદેશીને વ્યાજે આપવાની છૂટ છે. પણ તમારા ઇઝરાયલી ભાઈઓ પાસે વ્યાજ લેવું નહિ, તેથી જે દેશનું વતન પામવા તમે જાઓ છો. તેમાં જે કશામાં તમે હાથ લગાડો તેમાં યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વર આશીર્વાદ આપે.
