Deuteronomy 2:8
So we passed by from our brothers, the children of Esau, who dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion Geber. We turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

| فَاجْتَزْنَا بِإِخْوَتِنَا بَنِي عِيسُو الْمُقِيمِينَ فِي سِعِيرَ، مُتَّجِهِينَ فِي طَرِيقِ وَادِي الْعَرَبَةِ جَنُوباً صَوْبَ إِيلاَتَ وَعَصْيُونَ جَابِرَ، ثُمَّ انْثَنَيْنَا وَمَرَرْنَا فِي طَرِيقِ صَحْرَاءِ مُوآبَ. |
সেয়ে আমি আমাৰ ভাই চেয়ীৰৰ বাসিন্দা এচৌৰ বংশধৰৰ ওচৰেদি পাৰ হৈ আহিলোঁ। আমি এলৎ ও ইচিয়োন-গেবৰ নগৰৰ পৰা অৰাবাৰ বাট ত্যাগ কৰি মোৱাবৰ মৰুভূমিলৈ যোৱা পথৰ ফালে ঘূৰিছিলোঁ।

তাই আমরা অরাবা রাস্তা থেকে, এলৎ ও ইৎসিয়োন গেবর থেকে, সেয়ীরে বসবাসীকারী আমাদের ভাই, এষৌ বংশধরদের সামনে দিয়ে গেলাম। আর আমরা মোয়াবের মরুপ্রান্তের রাস্তা দিয়ে গেলাম।
অতএব আমরা সেয়ীরে বসবাসকারী এষৌর বংশধর আমাদের আত্মীয়দের রাজ্যের মধ্যে দিয়ে গেলাম। আমরা অরাবার যে পথটি এলৎ ও ইৎসিয়োন-গেবর থেকে বের হয়ে এসেছে সেই পথ ছেড়ে মোয়াবের মরুএলাকার পথে গেলাম।

Als wij nu doorgetrokken waren van onze broederen, de kinderen van Ezau, die in Seir woonden, van den weg des vlakken velds, van Elath, en van Ezeon-Geber, zo keerden wij ons, en doortogen den weg der woestijn van Moab.
Zo trokken wij onze broeders, de zonen van Esau, die op het Seïr-gebergte wonen voorbij, over de weg van de Araba, langs Elat en Es-jon-Géber, en namen de richting van de steppe van Moab.

So we passed by our relatives, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We didn't take the Arabah road from Elath and Ezion-geber. Instead we used the road that goes through the desert of Moab.
And when we were departed from our brethren the children of Esau which dwelt in Seir, through the way of the plaine, from Elath, and from Ezion-gaber, we turned and went by the way of the wildernes of Moab.
So we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah, from Elath and from Ezion-geber. And we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

So we continued to travel. We avoided going through the hilly area where the descendants of Esau live. We stayed away from the road through the Jordan [River] Valley past Ezion-Geber and Elath [towns], and we turned and traveled northeast toward the desert area where the Moab people-group lives.
So we passed by our brothers, the descendants of Esau who live in Seir, away from the Arabah road, from Elath and from Ezion Geber. Then we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.

Als wir dann aber an unsern Brüdern, den Kindern Esau, die in Seir wohnen, vorüberzogen, auf dem Wege durch die Ebene von Elat und von Ezjon-Geber, wandten wir uns und betraten den Weg nach der Steppe Moab.
Und wir zogen vorüber an unseren Brüdern, den Söhnen Esaus, die auf Seir wohnen, ab von dem Wege durch das Flachland, von Elath und von Ezion Geber, und wandten uns und zogen hin auf dem Wege nach der Wüste Moab.

Και αφού επεράσαμεν διά των αδελφών ημών των υιών Ησαύ, των κατοικούντων εν Σηείρ, διά της οδού της πεδιάδος από Ελάθ και από Εσιών-γάβερ. Και εστρέψαμεν και διέβημεν διά της οδού της ερήμου Μωάβ.
καὶ παρήλθομεν τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἡμῶν υἱοὺς Ησαυ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Σηιρ παρὰ τὴν ὁδὸν τὴν Αραβα ἀπὸ Αιλων καὶ ἀπὸ Γασιωνγαβερ καὶ ἐπιστρέψαντες παρήλθομεν ὁδὸν ἔρημον Μωαβ
જેથી અમે આપણા સેઈરવાસી ભાઈઓ એટલે કે એસાવના વંશજોના દેશમાંથી પસાર થયા, અરાબાના માર્ગે થઈને એલાથ તથા એસ્યોન-ગેબેરથી ગયા. અને અમે પાછા વળીને મોઆબના અરણ્યના માર્ગે ચાલ્યા.

Saboda haka muka ci gaba, muka wuce’yan’uwanmu, zuriyar Isuwa, wanda yake zama a Seyir. Muka bar hanyar Araba, wadda ta haura daga Elat da Eziyon Geber, muka nufi wajen hamadar Mowab.
