Deuteronomy 18:14
For these nations that you shall dispossess listen to those who practice sorcery and to diviners; but as for you, the LORD your God has not allowed you so to do.

| إِنَّ تِلْكَ الأُمَمَ الَّتِي أَنْتُمْ تَسْتَأْصِلُونَهُا تُصَدِّقُ مُمَارَسَةَ الْمُشَعْوِذِينَ وَالْعَرَّافِينَ، وَأَمَّا أَنْتُمْ فَإِنَّ الرَّبَّ إِلَهَكُمْ يَحْظُرُ عَلَيْكُمْ ذَلِكَ. |
আপোনালোকে যি জাতিবোৰক উদ্ধাস্তু কৰি ভূমি অধিকাৰ কৰিব, তেওঁলোকে মায়াবিদ্যা আৰু মঙ্গল চোৱা ভৱিষ্যত বক্তাসকলৰ কথা শুনে। কিন্তু আপোনালোকক হ’লে আপোনালোকৰ ঈশ্বৰ যিহোৱাই তেনে কৰিবলৈ নিষেধ কৰিছে।

তোমরা যে জাতিদের অধিকারচ্যুত করবে তারা গণক কিংবা মায়াবিদ্যা ব্যবহারকারীদের কথা শোনে। কিন্তু তোমাদের ক্ষেত্রে, তোমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু তোমাদের তা করার অনুমতি দেননি।

કેમ કે આ જે દેશજાતિઓનું વતન તમે પામવાના છો, તેઓ જોષ જોનારોઓનું તથા શુકન જોનારાનું પણ સાંભળે છે. તમને તો યહોવાહ તમારા ઈશ્વરે એવું કરવા દીધું નથી.

“वे जातियाँ जिनका अधिकारी तू होने पर है शुभ-अशुभ मुहूर्त्तों के माननेवालों और भावी कहनेवालों की सुना करती है; परन्तु तुझको तेरे परमेश्वर यहोवा ने ऐसा करने नहीं दिया।
क्योंकि वे राष्ट्र, जिन्हें तुम उनके देश से वंचित करने पर हो, उनके आदेशों का पालन करते हैं, जो जादू-टोना करते और भावी प्रकट करते हैं; मगर तुम वह हो, जिन्हें याहवेह, तुम्हारे परमेश्वर ने यह सब करने से निषिद्ध किया है.

Sebab bangsa-bangsa yang daerahnya akan kaududuki ini mendengarkan kepada peramal atau petenung, tetapi engkau ini tidak diizinkan TUHAN, Allahmu, melakukan yang demikian.
Bangsa-bangsa yang akan kalian usir mengikuti petunjuk para peramal dan orang yang melakukan tipuan ilmu gaib, tetapi TUHAN melarang kalian melakukan segala hal seperti itu.”
Perciocchè queste genti, [il] cui [paese] tu vai a possedere, hanno atteso a' pronosticatori e agl'indovini; ma, quant'è a te, il Signore Iddio tuo non ti ha date tali cose.
perché le nazioni, di cui tu vai ad occupare il paese, ascoltano gli indovini e gli incantatori, ma quanto a te, non così ti ha permesso il Signore tuo Dio.

汝が逐はらふ故の國々の民は邪法師卜筮師などに聽ことをなせり然ど汝には汝の神ヱホバ然する事を許したまはず
あなたが追い払うかの国々の民は卜者、占いをする者に聞き従うからである。しかし、あなたには、あなたの神、主はそうする事を許されない。

ನೀವು ಸ್ವಾಧೀನಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಶಕುನ ನೋಡುವವರ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಣಿಹೇಳುವವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನಾದರೋ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಯೆಹೋವ ದೇವರು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.
