and what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses, and to their chariots; how he made the water of the Red Sea to overflow them as they pursued you, and how the LORD has destroyed them to this day;

| وَالَّتِي صَنَعَهَا بِجَيْشِ مِصْرَ وَخَيْلِهِمْ وَمَرْكَبَاتِهِمْ، حَيْثُ جَعَلَ مِيَاهَ الْبَحْرِ الأَحْمَرِ تَغْمُرُهُمْ حِينَ سَعَوْا وَرَاءَكُمْ، فَأَهْلَكَهُمُ الرَّبُّ. |

મિસરનું સૈન્ય તેના ઘોડા અને રથો તમારો પીછો કરતાં હતાં, ત્યારે સૂફ સમુદ્રનું પાણી તેમની પર ફેરવી વાળ્યું. એ રીતે યહોવાહે તેમનો આજ સુધી કેવી રીતે વિનાશ કર્યો તે તેમણે જોયું નથી;
