Deuteronomy 10:10
I stayed on the mountain, as at the first time, forty days and forty nights; and the LORD listened to me that time also. The LORD would not destroy you.

| «وَأَنَا مَكَثْتُ فِي ٱلْجَبَلِ كَٱلْأَيَّامِ ٱلْأُولَى، أَرْبَعِينَ نَهَارًا وَأَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً. وَسَمِعَ ٱلرَّبُّ لِي تِلْكَ ٱلْمَرَّةَ أَيْضًا، وَلَمْ يَشَإِ ٱلرَّبُّ أَنْ يُهْلِكَكَ. |
| أَمَّا أَنَا فَقَدْ مَكَثْتُ فِي الْجَبَلِ أَرْبَعِينَ نَهَاراً وَأَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً، كَمَا حَدَثَ فِي الْمَرَّةِ الأُولَى وَاسْتَجَابَ لِيَ الرَّبُّ أَيْضاً فَلَمْ يُهْلِكْكُمْ |
পূৰ্বৰ দৰেই সেইবাৰো মই চল্লিশ দিন আৰু চল্লিশ ৰাতি পৰ্বতৰ ওপৰত আছিলোঁ আৰু সেই সময়তো যিহোৱাই মোৰ নিবেদন শুনিছিল। আপোনালোকক ধ্বংস কৰি দিয়াৰ ইচ্ছা যিহোৱাৰ নাছিল।
Əvvəlki kimi yenə də qırx gün-qırx gecə dağda qalmışdım. Rəbb bu dəfə də məni dinlədi və ona görə sizi qırmaq istəmədi.
আর আমি প্রথম বারের মত চল্লিশ দিন রাত পর্বতে থাকলাম; এবং সেই বারেও সদাপ্রভু আমার নিবেদন শুনলেন; সদাপ্রভু তোমাকে ধ্বংস করতে চাইলেন না।
আগের বারের মতো, সেই বারও আমি চল্লিশ দিন ও চল্লিশ রাত পাহাড়ের উপরে ছিলাম আর সেই বারও সদাপ্রভু আমার কথা শুনেছিলেন। তোমাদের ধ্বংস করার ইচ্ছা তাঁর ছিল না।

Men jeg blev paa Bjerget lige saa længe som forrige Gang, fyrretyve Dage og fyrretyve Nætter, og HERREN bønhørte mig ogsaa denne Gang; HERREN vilde ikke tilintetgøre dig.

Toen ik dan evenals vroeger veertig dagen en veertig nachten op de berg was gebleven, verhoorde mij Jahweh ook deze keer; Jahweh heeft u niet willen verdelgen.
En ik stond op den berg, als de vorige dagen, veertig dagen en veertig nachten; en de HEERE verhoorde mij ook op datzelve maal; de HEERE heeft u niet willen verderven.

Και εγώ εστάθην επί του όρους, ως το πρότερον, τεσσαράκοντα ημέρας και τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας· και εισήκουσέ μου ο Κύριος και ταύτην την φοράν, και δεν ηθέλησεν ο Κύριος να σε εξολοθρεύση.

અગાઉની જેમ હું ચાળીસ રાત અને ચાળીસ દિવસ પર્વત પર રહ્યો; અને યહોવાહે તે સમયે પણ મારું સાંભળીને તમારો નાશ કર્યો નહિ.

| ואנכי עמדתי בהר כימים הראשנים--ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה וישמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא--לא אבה יהוה השחיתך |

| ואנכי עמדתי בהר כימים הראשנים ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה וישמע יהוה אלי גם בפעם ההוא לא אבה יהוה השחיתך׃ |
| וְאָנֹכִי עָמַדְתִּי בָהָר כַּיָּמִים הָרִאשֹׁנִים אַרְבָּעִים יוֹם וְאַרְבָּעִים לָיְלָה וַיִּשְׁמַע יְהוָה אֵלַי גַּם בַּפַּעַם הַהִוא לֹא־אָבָה יְהוָה הַשְׁחִיתֶֽךָ׃ |
| וְאָנֹכִ֞י עָמַ֣דְתִּי בָהָ֗ר כַּיָּמִים֙ הָרִ֣אשֹׁנִ֔ים אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים לָ֑יְלָה וַיִּשְׁמַ֨ע יְהוָ֜ה אֵלַ֗י גַּ֚ם בַּפַּ֣עַם הַהִ֔וא לֹא־אָבָ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה הַשְׁחִיתֶֽךָ׃ |
“मैं तो पहले के समान उस पर्वत पर चालीस दिन और चालीस रात ठहरा रहा, और उस बार भी यहोवा ने मेरी सुनी, और तुझे नाश करने की मनसा छोड़ दी।
पहले की अवधि के समान मैं पर्वत पर चालीस दिन और चालीस रात ठहरा रहा. इस अवसर पर भी याहवेह ने मेरी प्रार्थना सुन ली; उन्होंने तुम्हें नाश करने का विचार ही त्याग दिया.

"Empat puluh hari dan empat puluh malam saya tinggal di atas gunung seperti yang saya lakukan pertama kalinya. Sekali lagi TUHAN mendengarkan saya, dan Ia setuju untuk tidak membinasakan kamu.
Maka aku ini berdiri di atas gunung seperti yang pertama kali, empat puluh hari empat puluh malam lamanya, dan sekali inipun TUHAN mendengarkan aku: TUHAN tidak mau memusnahkan engkau.
Kata Musa selanjutnya, “Saya tinggal di gunung itu selama empat puluh hari empat puluh malam, sama seperti yang saya lakukan sebelumnya. Sekali lagi, TUHAN mendengarkan permohonan saya sehingga Dia tidak membinasakan kalian.

我は前の日數のごとく四十日四十夜山に居しがヱホバその時にもまた我に聽たまへりヱホバ汝を滅すことを好みたまはざりき
わたしは前の時のように四十日四十夜、山におったが、主はその時にもわたしの願いを聞かれた。主はあなたを滅ぼすことを望まれなかった。

ನಾನು ಮೊದಲಿನಂತೆ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ನಲ್ವತ್ತು ದಿನವೂ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಲಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೋವನು ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.
