Deuteronomy 1:19
We traveled from Horeb and went through all that great and terrible wilderness which you saw, by the way to the hill country of the Amorites, as the LORD our God commanded us; and we came to Kadesh Barnea.
“Pastaj u nisëm nga mali i Horebit dhe përshkuam gjithë atë shkretëtirë të madhe dhe të tmerrshme që keni parë, duke u drejtuar nga krahina malore e Amorejve, ashtu si na kishte urdhëruar Zoti, Perëndia ynë, dhe arritëm në Kadesh-Barnea.
| «ثُمَّ ٱرْتَحَلْنَا مِنْ حُورِيبَ، وَسَلَكْنَا كُلَّ ذَلِكَ ٱلْقَفْرِ ٱلْعَظِيمِ ٱلْمَخُوفِ ٱلَّذِي رَأَيْتُمْ فِي طَرِيقِ جَبَلِ ٱلْأَمُورِيِّينَ، كَمَا أَمَرَنَا ٱلرَّبُّ إِلَهُنَا. وَجِئْنَا إِلَى قَادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ. |
| ثُمَّ ارْتَحَلْنَا بِمُوْجِبِ أَمْرِ الرَّبِّ مِنْ جَبَلِ حُورِيبَ مُجْتَازِينَ تِلْكَ الصَّحْرَاءَ الْعَظِيمَةَ الْمَخُوفَةَ الَّتِي رَأَيْتُمُوهَا، مُتَّجِهِينَ نَحْوَ بِلاَدِ الأَمُورِيِّينَ الْجَبَلِيَّةِ، إِلَى أَنْ أَقْبَلْنَا عَلَى قَادَشَ بَرْنِيعَ. |

পরে আমরা আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ অনুসারে হোরেব থেকে চলে গেলাম এবং ইমোরীয়দের পাহাড়ি দেশে যাবার পথে তোমরা সেই যে বিশাল ও ভয়ঙ্কর মরুভূমি দেখেছ, তার মধ্যে দিয়ে যাত্রা করে কাদেশ বর্ণেয়ে পৌঁছালাম।
এরপর, আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর আদেশ অনুসারে, আমরা হোরেব ছেড়ে ইমোরীয়দের পাহাড়ি এলাকার দিকে যাওয়ার পথে তোমরা সেই বড়ো ও ভয়ংকর মরুএলাকা দেখেছিলে, এবং আমরা কাদেশ-বর্ণেয় পৌঁছালাম।

Toen vertogen wij van Horeb, en doorwandelden die gans grote en vreselijke woestijn, die gij gezien hebt, op den weg van het gebergte der Amorieten, gelijk de HEERE, onze God, ons geboden had; en wij kwamen tot Kades-Barnea.

Και σηκωθέντες από Χωρήβ, διεπεράσαμεν πάσαν την έρημον την μεγάλην και φοβεράν εκείνην, την οποίαν είδετε, οδοιπορούντες προς το όρος των Αμορραίων, καθώς Κύριος ο Θεός ημών προσέταξεν εις ημάς, και ήλθομεν έως Κάδης-βαρνή.
