Deuteronomy 1:17
You shall not show partiality in judgment; you shall hear the small and the great alike. You shall not be afraid of the face of man, for the judgment is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, you shall bring to me, and I will hear it.”

| لاَ تُحَابُوا فِي الْقَضَاءِ وَاسْتَمِعُوا لِلصَّغِيرِ كَمَا تَسْتَمِعُونَ لِلْكَبِيرِ. لاَ تَهَابُوا إِنْسَاناً، لأَنَّ الْقَضَاءَ لِلهِ. وَمَا يَصْعُبُ عَلَيْكُمْ مِنْ أَمْرٍ تَرْفَعُونَهُ إِلَيَّ فَأَقْضِي فِيهِ. |
বিবাদৰ সময়ত আপোনালোকে কাৰো পক্ষ নল’ব আৰু ডাঙৰ-সৰু সকলোৰে কথা সমানে শুনিব। বিচাৰৰ কার্য প্রকৃততে ঈশ্বৰৰ; সেয়ে আপোনালোকে মানুহৰ মুখলৈ চাই ভয় নাখাব। যদি কোনো বিবাদ আপোনালোকৰ কাৰণে কঠিন যেন লাগে, তেন্তে সেই বিচাৰ মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আনিব, মই সেই বিচাৰ কৰিম।”
Heç kimə tərəfkeşlik etmədən kiçiyi də böyük kimi dinləyərək hökm çıxarın. İnsan şəxsiyyətindən qorxmayın, hökm Allahındır. Sizin üçün çətin olan münaqişəli məsələləri isə mənim yanıma gətirin. Mən onlara qulaq asaram”.

তোমরা বিচারে কারও পক্ষপাত করবে না; সমানভাবে ছোট ও মহান উভয়ের কথা শুনবে; মানুষের মুখ দেখে ভয় করবে না, কারণ বিচার ঈশ্বরের এবং যে ঘটনা তোমাদের পক্ষে কঠিন, তা আমার কাছে আনবে, আমি তা শুনব।”
বিচারের ব্যাপারে তোমরা কারও পক্ষ নেবে না এবং বড়ো-ছোটো সবার কথাই শুনবে। কোনো মানুষকে ভয় পাবে না, কেননা বিচার ঈশ্বরের। যদি কোনো বিচার তোমাদের কাছে কঠিন বলে মনে হয় তবে তোমরা তা আমার কাছে নিয়ে আসবে, আমি সেই বিচার করব।”
В съда да не гледате на лице; да изслушвате малкия, както големия; да се не боите от човешко лице, защото съдът е Божий. И всяко дело, което е много мъчно за вас, отнасяйте се до мене, и аз ще го изслушвам.

审判的时候，不可看人的外貌；听讼不可分贵贱，不可惧怕人，因为审判是属乎 神的。若有难断的案件，可以呈到我这里，我就判断。’

U suđenju nemojte biti pristrani; saslušavajte maloga kao i velikoga. Ne bojte se nikoga! TÓa sud je Božji! Ako vam koji slučaj bude pretežak, iznesite ga meni, da ga ja razvidim.'

I skulle i Dommen ikke anse Personen, I skulle høre den mindste med den største, I skulle ikke frygte for nogen, thi Dommen hører Gud til; men den Sag, som bliver eder for svar, lader den komme frem til mig, saa vil jeg høre den.

No difference schal be of persones; ye schulen here so a litil man, `that is, pore, as a greet man, nether ye schulen take the persoone of ony man, for it is the doom of God. That if ony thing semeth hard to you, telle ye to me, and Y schal here.

Ei teidän pidä katsoman kenenkään muotoa tuomiossa, vaan kuulkaat niin pientä, kuin suurtakin: älkäät peljätkö kenenkään muotoa; sillä tuomio on Jumalan: vaan se asia, mikä teille on raskas, antakaat tulla minun eteeni, kuullakseni sitä.
Älkää katsoko henkilöön tuomitessanne, vaan kuulkaa pientä yhtä hyvin kuin suurtakin; älkää peljätkö ketään ihmistä, sillä tuomio on Jumalan. Mutta asia, joka on teistä liian vaikea, lykätkää minulle, kuullakseni sen.'
