“Seventy weeks are decreed on your people and on your holy city, to finish disobedience, to make an end of sins, to make reconciliation for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most holy.

| قَدْ صَدَرَ الْقَضَاءُ أَنْ يَمْضِيَ سَبْعُونَ أُسْبُوعاً عَلَى شَعْبِكَ وَعَلَى مَدِينَةِ قُدْسِكَ، لِلانْتِهَاءِ مِنَ الْمَعْصِيَةِ وَالْقَضَاءِ عَلَى الْخَطِيئَةِ، وَلِلتَّكْفِيرِ عَنِ الإِثْمِ، وَلإِشَاعَةِ الْبِرِّ الأَبَدِيِّ وَخَتْمِ الرُّؤْيَا وَالنُّبُوءَةِ وَلِمَسْحِ قُدُّوسِ الْقُدُّوسِينَ. |

— «[Huda] tǝripidin «yǝtmix ⱨǝssǝ «yǝttǝ waⱪit»» sening hǝlⱪing bilǝn muⱪǝddǝs xǝⱨiring üstigǝ bekitilgǝn. Chúa đã ấn định một thời gian bốn trăm chín mươi năm để hoàn tất sự đoán phạt tội lỗi của người Giu-đa và Giê-ru-sa-lem. Lúc ấy, họ mới biết ăn năn tội lỗi, và được tha thứ. Lúc ấy, Chúa sẽ thiết lập sự công chính đời đời, và đền thờ của Đấng Chí Thánh mới được khánh thành, đúng như các nhà tiên tri đã loan báo.
