ರಾಜರಿಗೆ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗದಂತೆ ಆ ದೇಶಾಧಿಪತಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರಿಂದ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂವರು ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೇಮಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು; ಆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಒಬ್ಬನು.
