Then these men assembled together to the king, and said to the king, “Know, O king, that it is a law of the Medes and Persians, that no decree nor statute which the king establishes may be changed.”

তখন সেই লোকেরা আবার মিলিতভাবে রাজা দারিয়াবসের কাছে গেলেন ও তাকে বললেন, “মহারাজ, মনে রাখবেন, যে মাদীয় ও পারসিকদের রীতি অনুসারে রাজার আদেশনামা কখনও পরিবর্তন হয় না।”

Da stürmten diese Männer herein zu dem Könige und sprachen zum König: Wisse, o König, daß es ein Gesetz von Medien und Persien ist, daß kein Verbot oder Satzung, vom König aufgesetzt, verändert werde.
