Daniel 6:12
Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king’s decree: “Have not you signed a decree that every man who makes a petition to any god or man within thirty days, except to you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions?” The king answered, “This thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which does not alter.”
Kështu iu afruan mbretit dhe folën para tij për dekretin mbretëror: “A nuk ke nënshkruar një dekret në bazë të të cilit gjatë tridhjetë ditëve kushdo që do të bëjë një kërkesë drejtuar çfarëdo perëndie ose njeriu me përjashtimin tënd, o mbret, do të hidhet në gropën e luanëve?”. Mbreti u përgjigj dhe tha: “Kjo gjë është vendosur në pajtim me ligjin e Mediasve dhe të Persianëve, që nuk mund të ndryshohet”.
| فَتَقَدَّمُوا وَتَكَلَّمُوا قُدَّامَ ٱلْمَلِكِ فِي نَهْيِ ٱلْمَلِكِ: «أَلَمْ تُمْضِ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلِكُ نَهْيًا بِأَنَّ كُلَّ إِنْسَانٍ يَطْلُبُ مِنْ إِلَهٍ أَوْ إِنْسَانٍ حَتَّى ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا إِلَّا مِنْكَ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمَلِكُ يُطْرَحُ فِي جُبِّ ٱلْأُسُودِ؟» فَأَجَابَ ٱلْمَلِكُ وَقَالَ: «ٱلْأَمْرُ صَحِيحٌ كَشَرِيعَةِ مَادِي وَفَارِسَ ٱلَّتِي لَا تُنْسَخُ». |
| فَمَثَلُوا فِي حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ وَتَبَاحَثُوا فِي أَمْرِهِ الَّذِي صَدَرَ، وَقَالُوا: «أَلَمْ تُوَقِّعْ أَيُّهَا الْمَلِكُ أَمْراً يَحْظُرُ عَلَى كُلِّ إِنْسَانٍ رَفْعَ طَلَبٍ إِلَى إِلَهٍ أَوْ إِنْسَانٍ سِوَاكَ مُدَّةَ ثَلاَثِينَ يَوْماً، وَمَنْ يُخَالِفُ ذَلِكَ يُطْرَحُ فِي جُبِّ الأُسُودِ؟» فَأَجَابَ الْمَلِكُ: «الأَمْرُ صَحِيحٌ كَشَرِيعَةِ مَادِي وَفَارِسَ الَّتِي لاَ تُنْسَخُ». |
তাৰ পাছত তেওঁলোকে ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ গ’ল আৰু তেওঁৰ আজ্ঞাৰ বিষয়ে ক’লে, “হে মহাৰাজ, যি কোনো মানুহে ত্ৰিশদিনলৈকে আপোনাৰ বাহিৰে আন কোনো দেৱতা বা মানুহৰ আগত প্ৰাৰ্থনা কৰিব, তেওঁক সিংহৰ গাতত পেলোৱা যাব, এনে আজ্ঞা আপুনি দিয়া নাছিল নে?” ৰজাই উত্তৰ দিলে, হয়, মাদীয়া আৰু পাৰসীসকলৰ বিধানৰ অনুসাৰে সেই কথা স্থিৰ কৰা হৈছিল; এই আজ্ঞা সলনি কৰা নহব।”
Sonra gəlib padşaha öz qadağan əmri barədə dedilər: «Ey padşah, otuz gün ərzində kim səndən başqa bir allaha yaxud insana dua edərsə, şirlər olan quyuya atılsın deyə qadağan əmri imzalamadınmı?» Padşah cavab verdi: «Bu qərar dəyişilməz olan Midiya və Fars qanunlarına əsasən qətidir».

তখন তাঁরা রাজার কাছে উপস্থিত হল এবং তাঁর দেওয়া আদেশের বিষয়ে তাঁর সঙ্গে কথা বলল, “মহারাজ, আপনি কি এমন আদেশ দেন নি যে, ত্রিশ দিনের মধ্যে যদি কেউ মহারাজ, আপনাকে ছাড়া আর অন্য কোন দেবতা বা মানুষের কাছে প্রার্থনা করে তবে তাকে সিংহের গুহায় ফেলে দেওয়া হবে?” রাজা উত্তর দিলেন, “মাদীয় ও পারসীকদের আইনের মতই, এই আদেশও স্থির করা হয়েছে এবং তা আর পরিবর্তন করা যাবে না।”
তখন তারা রাজার কাছে গেলেন ও রাজার আদেশনামার বিষয়ে বললেন, “মহারাজ, আপনি কি এই আদেশনামা জারি করেননি, যে তিরিশ দিনের মধ্যে কেউ যদি মহারাজ ছাড়া অন্য কোনো দেবতা বা মানুষের আরাধনা করে তবে তাকে সিংহের গুহায় ফেলে দেওয়া হবে?” রাজা বললেন, “সে আদেশ এখনও জারি রয়েছে; মাদীয় ও পারসিকদের রীতি অনুসারে তা বাতিল হবার নয়।”
За това, приближиха се и говориха пред царя за царската забрана, като рекоха: Не подписа ли ти забрана, че всеки човек, който до тридесет дена би отправил просба до кой да било бог или човек, освен до тебе, царю, ще се хвърли в рова на лъвовете? Царят в отговор рече: Това е вярно, според закона на мидяните и персите, който не се изменява.

Tada odoše i pred kraljem se pozvaše na kraljevsku zabranu: “Zar ti nisi potpisao zabranu prema kojoj će svaki onaj koji bi u vremenu od trideset dana upravio molbu na nekoga boga ili čovjeka, osim na tebe, o kralju, biti bačen u lavsku jamu?” Kralj odgovori: “Tako je odlučeno po nepromjenljivom medijsko-perzijskom zakonu.”
Tedy přistoupili a mluvili k králi o zápovědi královské: Zdaliž jsi nevydal mandátu, aby každý člověk, kdož by koli něčeho žádal od kterého boha neb člověka až do třidcíti dnů, kromě od tebe, králi, uvržen byl do jámy lvové? Odpověděv král, řekl: Pravéť jest slovo to, podlé práva Médského a Perského, kteréž jest neproměnitelné.
Tedy přistoupili a mluvili k králi o zápovědi královské: Zdaliž jsi nevydal mandátu, aby každý člověk, kdož by koli něčeho žádal od kterého boha neb člověka až do třidcíti dnů, kromě od tebe, králi, uvržen byl do jámy lvové? Odpověděv král, řekl: Pravéť jest slovo to, podlé práva Médského a Perského, kteréž jest neproměnitelné.

Da kom de frem og talte for Kongen om Kongens Forbud: Har du ikke opsat et Forbud om, at hvert Menneske, som beder nogen Gud eller noget Menneske om noget i tredive Dage uden dig, o Konge! skal kastes i Løvekulen? Kongen svarede og sagde: Ordet staar fast efter Medernes og Persernes Lov, som ikke kan tilbagekaldes.

De koning antwoordde: Dat staat vast, en is onherroepelijk als een wet van Meden en Perzen.

Then they came near before the king and said, O King, have you not put your name to an order that any man who makes a request to any god or man but you, O King, for thirty days, is to be put into the lions' hole? The king made answer and said, The thing is fixed by the law of the Medes and Persians which may not come to an end.
And they came and said to the king, O king, hast thou not made a decree, that whatsoever man shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, but of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? And the king said, The word is true, and the decree of the Medes and Persians shall not pass.
And they came and said to the king, O king, has you not made a decree, that whatever man shall ask a petition of any god or man for thirty days, but of you, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? And the king said, The word is true, and the decree of the Medes and Persians shall not pass.
And they approached and spoke to the king about the edict. “O king, did you not decree that every man who makes a request to any of the gods or men for thirty days, except to yourself, O king, would be cast into the den of lions?” To which the king replied, saying, “The sentence is true, and according to the decree of the Medes and Persians, it is not lawful to violate it.”
Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king's decree: Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask [anything] of any god or man within thirty days, except of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which may not be revoked.
And they came and spoke to the king concerning the edict: O king, hast thou not decreed, that every man that should make a request to any of the gods, or men, for thirty days, but to thyself, O king, should be cast into the den of the lions? And the king answered them, saying: The word is true according to the decree of the Medes and Persians, which it is not lawful to violate.
They went to the king right away and asked him about the decree. “Didn't Your Majesty sign a decree that for the next thirty days anyone who prays to any god or human being except you, Your Majesty, shall be thrown into the lions' den?” “I certainly did!” the king replied. “The decree stands. According to the law of the Medes and the Persians it cannot be revoked.”
So they came and, spake vnto the King concerning the Kings decree, Hast thou not sealed the decree, that euery man that shall make a request to any god or man within thirtie dayes, saue to thee, O King, shall be cast into the denne of lyons? The King answered, and sayd, The thing is true, according to the Lawe of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

The king answered and said, The thing is certainly so, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which cannot he repealed.
then they have come near, indeed, they are saying before the king concerning the king’s interdict: “Have you not signed an interdict, that any man who seeks from any god and man until thirty days, except of you, O king, is cast into a den of lions?” The king has answered and said, “The thing [is] certain as a law of Media and Persia, that does not pass away.”

It is a law of [our governments of] Media and Persia, which cannot be canceled.”
Then they approached the king and spoke with him about his decree: “Did you not make a decree that everyone who makes a petition to any god or human being during the next thirty days, except to you, king, must be throw into the den of lions?” The king answered, “The matter is settled, as directed by the law of the Medes and Persians; it cannot be repealed.”

The king answered and said, The thing [is] true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Da nahten sie und sprachen vor dem König über das Verbot des Königs: Hast du nicht ein Verbot unterzeichnet, daß jeder Mensch, der von irgendeinem Gott oder Menschen binnen dreißig Tagen außer von dir, o König, etwas ersuche, in die Löwengrube hinabgeworfen werden solle? Der König antwortete und sprach: Fest steht das Wort als Gesetz von Medien und Persien, das nicht vergeht.

तब वे राजा के पास जाकर, उसकी राजआज्ञा के विषय में उससे कहने लगे, “हे राजा, क्या तूने ऐसे आज्ञापत्र पर हस्ताक्षर नहीं किया कि तीस दिन तक जो कोई तुझे छोड़ किसी मनुष्य या देवता से विनती करेगा, वह सिंहों की माँद में डाल दिया जाएगा?” राजा ने उत्तर दिया, “हाँ, मादियों और फारसियों की अटल व्यवस्था के अनुसार यह बात स्थिर है।”
अतः वे राजा के पास गये और उसे उसके राजाज्ञा के बारे में कहने लगे: “क्या आपने ऐसी आज्ञा नहीं निकाली है कि अगले तीस दिनों तक कोई भी व्यक्ति महाराजा को छोड़ किसी और देवता या मानव प्राणी से प्रार्थना करे, तो उसे सिंहों की मांद में डाल दिया जाएगा?” राजा ने उत्तर दिया, “यह आज्ञा तो है—जिसे मेदियों एवं फ़ारसियों के कानून के अनुसार रद्द नहीं किया जा सकता.”
