Amos 7:2

| وَبَعْدَ أَنْ فَرَغَ الْجَرَادُ مِنِ الْتِهَامِ عُشْبِ الأَرْضِ، قُلْتُ: «أَيُّهَا السَّيِّدُ الرَّبُّ، اصْفَحْ عَنْ شَعْبِكَ. إِذْ كَيْفَ يُمْكِنُ لِيَعْقُوبَ أَنْ يَنْهَضَ، فَإِنَّهُ صَغِيرٌ؟» |
সেই কাকতি ফৰিংবোৰে যেতিয়া দেশৰ সকলো সেউজীয়া শাক-পাচলি খাই শেষ কৰি পেলাইছিল, তেতিয়া মই মিনতি কৰিলোঁ, “হে প্ৰভু যিহোৱা, অনুগ্রহ কৰি ক্ষমা কৰক; যাকোব নো কেনেকৈ জীয়াই থাকিব? তেওঁ যে অতি সৰু।”

એ તીડો દેશનું ઘાસ ખાઈ રહ્યાં ત્યારે મેં કહ્યું કે, “હે પ્રભુ યહોવાહ કૃપા કરીને અમને માફ કરો; યાકૂબ કેવી રીતે જીવતો રહી શકે? કેમ કે તે નાનો છે.”

जब वे घास खा चुकीं, तब मैंने कहा, “हे परमेश्वर यहोवा, क्षमा कर! नहीं तो याकूब कैसे स्थिर रह सकेगा? वह कितना निर्बल है!”
जब टिड्डियां देश की सारी वनस्पति को चट कर चुकीं, तब मैंने पुकारा, “हे प्रभु याहवेह, क्षमा कर दें! याकोब कैसे जीवित रह सकता है? वह बहुत छोटा है!”
