2-Samuel 24:17
David spoke to the LORD when he saw the angel who struck the people, and said, “Behold, I have sinned, and I have done perversely; but these sheep, what have they done? Please let your hand be against me, and against my father’s house.”

| فَكَلَّمَ دَاوُدُ ٱلرَّبَّ عِنْدَمَا رَأَى ٱلْمَلَاكَ ٱلضَّارِبَ ٱلشَّعْبَ وَقَالَ: «هَا أَنَا أَخْطَأْتُ، وَأَنَا أَذْنَبْتُ، وَأَمَّا هَؤُلَاءِ ٱلْخِرَافُ فَمَاذَا فَعَلُوا؟ فَلْتَكُنْ يَدُكَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى بَيْتِ أَبِي». |
| فَقَالَ دَاوُدُ لِلرَّبِّ عِنْدَمَا شَاهَدَ الْمَلاَكَ الْمُهْلِكَ «أَنَا هُوَ الْمُخْطِئُ وَالْمُذْنِبُ، وَأَمَّا هَؤُلاَءِ الْخِرَافُ فَمَاذَا جَنَوْا؟ لِيَحُلَّ عِقَابُكَ عَلَيَّ وَعَلَى بَيْتِ أَبِي». |
পাছত যি দূতে সংহাৰ কৰিছিল, দায়ূদে সেই দূতক দেখি যিহোৱাক ক’লে “মইহে পাপ কৰিলোঁ, মইহে অপৰাধী হলোঁ; কিন্তু এই মেৰ-ছাগবোৰে কি কৰিলে? মই বিনয় কৰোঁ, তোমাৰ হাত মোৰেই বিৰুদ্ধে আৰু মোৰ পিতৃ-বংশৰ বিৰুদ্ধে হওক!”

পরে দায়ূদ সেই লোকঘাতী দূতকে দেখে সদাপ্রভুকে বললেন, “দেখ, আমিই পাপ করেছি, আমিই অপরাধ করেছি, কিন্তু এই মেষেরা কি করল? অনুরোধ করি, আমারই বিরুদ্ধে ও আমার বাবার বংশের বিরুদ্ধে হাত তোলো৷”

So you should punish [IDM] me and my family, [not these people]!”

David, voyant l’ange qui frappait parmi le peuple, dit à l’Éternel: Voici, j’ai péché! C’est moi qui suis coupable; mais ces brebis, qu’ont-elles fait? Que ta main soit donc sur moi et sur la maison de mon père!

Und als David den Engel sah, der unter dem Volke schlug, sprach er zu Jehova und sagte: Siehe, ich habe gesündigt, und ich habe verkehrt gehandelt; aber diese Schafe, was haben sie getan? Es sei doch deine Hand wider mich, und wider das Haus meines Vaters!

I rzekł Dawid do Pana, gdy ujrzał Anioła bijącego lud, mówiąc: Otom ja zgrzeszył, jam źle uczynił; ale te owce cóż uczyniły? niech się proszę obróci ręka twoja na mię i na dom ojca mego.
I gdy Dawid ujrzał Anioła karzącego lud, powiedział do PANA: Oto ja zgrzeszyłem, ja źle postąpiłem. Lecz te owce cóż uczyniły? Proszę, niech twoja ręka obróci się na mnie i na dom mojego ojca.

И сказал Давид Господу, когда увидел Ангела, поражавшего народ, говоря: вот, я согрешил, я пастырь поступил беззаконно; а эти овцы, что сделали они? пусть же рука Твоя обратится на меня и на дом отца моего.
А Давид кад виде анђела где бије народ, проговори и рече Господу: Ево, ја сам згрешио, ја сам зло учинио, а те овце шта су учиниле? Нека се рука Твоја обрати на мене и на дом оца мог.

At nakipag-usap si David kay Yahweh nang makita niya ang anghel na sumugod sa mga tao at sinabing, “Nagkasala ako” at “labis akong nagkamali. Pero itong mga tupa, ano ang kanilang nagawa? Pakiusap, hayaang ako at ang sambahayan ng aking ama ang parusahan ng inyong kamay!”

І сказав Давид до Господа, коли побачив того Ангола, що побива́в серед народу, і проказав: „Я ось згрішив, і пішов проти Зако́ну. А ці ві́вці, — що́ зробили вони? Нехай же рука Твоя буде на мені та на домі батька мого!“
और दाऊद ने जब उस फ़रिश्ता को जो लोगों को मार रहा था देखा तो ख़ुदावन्द से कहने लगा, “देख गुनाह तो मैंने किया और ख़ता मुझसे हुई लेकिन इन भेड़ों ने क्या किया है? इसलिए तेरा हाथ मेरे और मेरे बाप के घराने के ख़िलाफ़ हो।”

Khi Đa-vít thấy thiên sứ giết hại dân, ông kêu xin Chúa Hằng Hữu: “Con mới chính là người có tội, còn đàn chiên này có làm gì nên tội đâu? Xin Chúa ra tay hành hạ con và gia đình con.”
