2-Samuel 21:2
The king called the Gibeonites and said to them (now the Gibeonites were not of the children of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorites, and the children of Israel had sworn to them; and Saul sought to kill them in his zeal for the children of Israel and Judah);

| فَاسْتَدْعَى الْمَلِكُ الْجِبْعُونِيِّينَ، وَهُمْ مِنْ بَقَايَا شَعْبِ الأَمُورِيِّينَ الَّذِينَ وَقَّعَ مَعَهُمُ الإِسْرَائِيلِيُّونَ مُعَاهَدَةَ صُلْحٍ، وَلَكِنَّ شَاوُلَ سَعَى لِلْقَضَاءِ عَلَيْهِمْ مِنْ فَرْطِ غَيْرَتِهِ عَلَى بَنِي يَهُوذَا وَإِسْرَائِيلَ. |
সেই সময়ত গিবিয়োনীয়া সকল ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ মাজৰ নাছিল; কিন্তু ইমোৰীয়া সকলৰ অৱশিষ্ট থকা ভাগৰ লোক৷ ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলে তেওঁলোকক বধ নকৰিবলৈ শপত কৰিলে কিন্তু চৌলে ইস্ৰায়েলৰ সন্তান সকলৰ আৰু যিহূদাৰ পক্ষে উদ্যোগী হৈ তেওঁলোকক বধ কৰিবলৈ চেষ্টা কৰিছিল।
Padşah Giveonluları çağırdı və onlarla danışdı. Giveonlular İsrail övladları deyildi. Emorlulardan sağ qalan bir xalq idi ki, İsraillilər onları sağ buraxacaqlarına and içmişdilər. Lakin Şaul İsrail və Yəhuda övladları naminə onları ciddi-cəhdlə yox etməyə çalışmışdı.

David summoned the Gibeonites and spoke with them. The Gibeonites were not Israelites, but what was left of the Amorites. The Israelites had sworn an oath to them, but in his nationalistic passion for the Israelites and Judah, Saul had tried to wipe them out.

And he summoned the king the Gibeonites and he said to them and the Gibeonites not [were] from [the] people of Israel they that except from [the] remnant of the Amorite[s] and [the] people of Israel they had sworn an oath to them and he had sought Saul to strike down them because was zealous he for [the] people of Israel and Judah.
and to call: call to [the] king to/for Gibeonite and to say to(wards) them and [the] Gibeonite not from son: descendant/people Israel they(masc.) that if: except if: except from remainder [the] Amorite and son: descendant/people Israel to swear to/for them and to seek Saul to/for to smite them in/on/with be jealous he to/for son: descendant/people Israel and Judah
The people of Gibeon were not Israelis; they were a small group of the Amor people-group whom the Israelis had solemnly promised to protect. But Saul had tried to kill all of them because he (was very zealous/wanted very much) to enable the people of Judah and Israel [to be the only ones living in that land]. So the king summoned the leaders of Gibeon
Now the Gibeonites were not from the people of Israel; they were from what remained of the Amorites. The people of Israel had sworn not to kill them, but Saul tried to kill them all anyway in his zeal for the people of Israel and Judah.

Therfor whanne Gabaonytis weren clepid, the kyng seide to hem; sotheli Gabaonytis ben not of the sones of Israel, but thei ben the relikys of Ammorreis; and the sones of Israel hadden swore to hem, `that is, that thei schulden not `be slayn, and Saul wolde smyte hem for feruent loue, as for the sones of Israel and of Juda;
And the king calleth for the Gibeonites, and saith unto them — as to the Gibeonites, they [are] not of the sons of Israel, but of the remnant of the Amorite, and the sons of Israel had sworn to them, and Saul seeketh to smite them in his zeal for the sons of Israel and Judah —

Alors le Roi appela les Gabaonites pour leur parler. Or les Gabaonites n'étaient point des enfants d'Israël, mais un reste des Amorrhéens; et les enfants d'Israël leur avaient juré [de les laisser vivre]; mais Saül par un zèle qu'il avait pour les enfants d'Israël et de Juda, avait cherché de les faire mourir.

ಗಿಬ್ಯೋನ್ಯರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರ ಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಲ್ಲ. ಸಂಹೃತರಾಗದೆ ಉಳಿದ ಅಮೋರಿಯರಷ್ಟೆ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು ತಾವು ಇವರನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೂ ಸೌಲನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆಹೂದ ಕುಲಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತನಗಿದ್ದ ಅಭಿಮಾನದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಇವರನ್ನು ನಿರ್ನಾಮಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದನು.
