So David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh Gilead, who had stolen them from the street of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hanged them in the day that the Philistines killed Saul in Gilboa;

তেতিয়া পলেষ্টীয়া সকলে গিলবোৱাত চৌলক বধ কৰা দিনা, চৌল আৰু তেওঁৰ পুত্ৰ যোনাথনক আৰি থোৱা বৈৎচানৰ চকৰ পৰা, তেওঁলোকৰ হাড় চুৰ কৰি অনা যাবেচ-গিলিয়দৰ গৃহস্থসকলৰ হাতৰ পৰা দায়ূদে সেইবোৰ লৈ আনিলে৷

তখন দায়ূদ গিয়ে যাবেশ গিলিয়দের লোকেদের কাছ থেকে শৌলের হাড় ও তাঁর ছেলে যোনাথনের হাড় গ্রহণ করলেন; কারণ গিলবোয়ে পলেষ্টীয়দের দ্বারা শৌলের নিহত হবার দিনের তাঁদের দুজনের মৃতদেহ পলেষ্টীয়দের দ্বারা বৈৎ-শানের চকে টাঙ্গানোর পর তারা সেখান থেকে তা চুরি করে এনেছিল৷
তখন তিনি গিয়ে যাবেশ-গিলিয়দের নগরবাসীদের কাছ থেকে শৌল ও তাঁর ছেলে যোনাথনের অস্থি নিয়ে এলেন। (ফিলিস্তিনীরা গিলবোয়ে শৌলকে আঘাত করে মেরে ফেলে দেওয়ার পর যখন তাদের দেহগুলি বেথ-শানের খোলা চকে টাঙিয়ে রেখেছিল, তারা সেখান থেকে দেহগুলি চুরি করে এনেছিল)

he went with some of his servants to Jabesh in [the] Gilead [region] and got the bones of Saul and his son Jonathan. The people of Jabesh had stolen their bones from the (plaza/public square) in Beth-Shan [city], where the men from Philistia had hanged them previously, on the day that they had killed Saul and Jonathan on Gilboa [Mountain].
So David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan his son from the men of Jabesh Gilead, who had stolen them from the public square of Beth Shan, where the Philistines had hanged them, after the Philistines had killed Saul in Gilboa.
