2-Samuel 14:32
Absalom answered Joab, “Behold, I sent to you, saying, ‘Come here, that I may send you to the king, to say, “Why have I come from Geshur? It would be better for me to be there still. Now therefore, let me see the king’s face; and if there is iniquity in me, let him kill me.”’”

| فَقَالَ أَبْشَالُومُ لِيُوآبَ: «هَأَنَذَا قَدْ أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَيْكَ قَائِلًا: تَعَالَ إِلَى هُنَا فَأُرْسِلَكَ إِلَى ٱلْمَلِكِ تَقُولُ: لِمَاذَا جِئْتُ مِنْ جَشُورَ؟ خَيْرٌ لِي لَوْ كُنْتُ بَاقِيًا هُنَاكَ. فَٱلْآنَ إِنِّي أَرَى وَجْهَ ٱلْمَلِكِ، وَإِنْ وُجِدَ فِيَّ إِثْمٌ فَلْيَقْتُلْنِي». |
| فَأَجَابَ أَبْشَالُومُ: «أَرْسَلْتُ طَالِباً إِلَيْكَ أَنْ تَأْتِيَ إِلَى هُنَا لأُوْفِدَكَ إِلَى الْمَلِكِ لِتَسْأَلَهُ لِمَاذَا اسْتَدْعَانِي مِنْ جَشُورَ خَيْرٌ لِي لَوْ بَقِيتُ هُنَاكَ. إِنِّي أَوَدُّ أَنْ أَمْثُلَ فِي حَضْرَةِ الْمَلِكِ، فَإِنْ كُنْتُ مُذْنِباً فَلْيَقْتُلْنِي». |
তেতিয়া অবচালোমে যোৱাবক ক’লে, “চোৱা, মই তোমাক খবৰ পঠিয়াইছিলো বোলে, ‘তুমি মোৰ ওচৰলৈ আহা যাতে মই তোমাক ৰজাৰ ওচৰলৈ ক’বলৈ পঠিয়াম যে, “মই গচুৰৰ পৰা কেলেই আহিলোঁ? এতিয়ালৈকে তাত থকা হ’লে মোৰ ভাল আছিল৷ এতিয়া এই হেতুকে মোক ৰজাৰ মুখ দেখিবলৈ দিয়ক আৰু যদি মোত কিবা অপৰাধ আছে তেতিয়া হ’লে তেওঁ যেন মোক বধ কৰক৷”’”
Avşalom Yoava dedi: «Bax sənin yanına adam göndərdim, dedim ki, buraya gələsən. “Söylə, mən Geşurdan buraya nə üçün gəlmişəm? А Авесалом отговори на Иоава: Ето, пратих до тебе да кажат: Дойди тук за да те пратя при царя да кажеш: Защо съм дошъл от Гесур? по-добре щеше да е за мене да бях още там; сега, прочее, нека видя лицето на царя; и ако има неправда в мене, нека ме убие.

押沙龙回答约押说：“我打发人去请你来，好托你去见王，替我说：‘我为何从基述回来呢？不如仍在那里。’现在要许我见王的面；我若有罪，任凭王杀我就是了。”

A Abšalom odgovori Joabu: “Ja sam poslao k tebi i poručio ti: 'Dođi ovamo, želio bih te poslati kralju s ovom porukom: Zašto sam se vratio iz Gešura?' Bolje bi bilo za mene da sam još ondje. Zato sad hoću da dođem kralju na oči, pa ako ima na meni kakva krivica, neka me pogubi!”
Odpověděl Absolon Joábovi: Aj, poslal jsem k tobě, řka: Přiď sem, a pošli tě k králi, abys řekl jemu: I proč jsem přišel z Gessur? Lépe mi bylo ještě tam zůstati. Protož nyní nechať uzřím tvář královu. Pakliť jest na mně nepravost, nechť mne rozkáže zabiti.
Odpověděl Absolon Joábovi: Aj, poslal jsem k tobě, řka: Přiď sem, a pošli tě k králi, abys řekl jemu: I proč jsem přišel z Gessur? Lépe mi bylo ještě tam zůstati. Protož nyní nechať uzřím tvář královu. Pakliť jest na mně nepravost, nechť mne rozkáže zabiti.
Absalon svarede Joab: "Se, jeg sendte Bud efter dig og bad dig komme herhen, for at jeg kunde sende dig til Kongen og sige: Hvorfor kom jeg tilbage fra Gesjur? Det havde været bedre for mig, om jeg var blevet der! Men nu vil jeg stedes for Kongen; er der Skyld hos mig så lad ham dræbe mig!"
Og Absalom sagde til Joab: Se, jeg sendte Bud til dig og lod sige: Kom hid, at jeg kan sende dig til Kongen og lade sige: Hvorfor er jeg kommen fra Gesur? det var mig godt, at jeg var der endnu; saa lad mig nu se Kongens Ansigt, men er der en Misgerning hos mig, da slaa han mig ihjel.
Absalom svarede Joab: »Se, jeg sendte Bud efter dig og bad dig komme herhen, for at jeg kunde sende dig til Kongen og sige: Hvorfor kom jeg tilbage fra Gesjur? Det havde været bedre for mig, om jeg var blevet der! Men nu vil jeg stedes for Kongen; er der Skyld hos mig saa lad ham dræbe mig!«

En Absalom zeide tot Joab: Zie, ik heb tot u gezonden, zeggende: Kom herwaarts, dat ik u tot den koning zende, om te zeggen: Waarom ben ik van Gesur gekomen? Het ware mij goed, dat ik nog daar ware; nu dan, laat mij het aangezicht des konings zien; is er dan nog een misdaad in mij, zo dode hij mij.
Absalom gaf Joab ten antwoord: Wel, ik heb u laten verzoeken, eens bij me te komen. Ik wilde u aan den koning laten vragen: Waarom ben ik eigenlijk uit Gesjoer gekomen? Het zou beter voor me zijn, als ik daar was gebleven. Nu wil ik ofwel door den koning ontvangen worden, óf hij moet me maar doden, als ik nog schuld heb.
En Absalom zeide tot Joab: Zie, ik heb tot u gezonden, zeggende: Kom herwaarts, dat ik u tot den koning zende, om te zeggen: Waarom ben ik van Gesur gekomen? Het ware mij goed, dat ik nog daar ware; nu dan, laat mij het aangezicht des konings zien; is er dan nog een misdaad in mij, zo dode hij mij.

And Absalom's answer was, See, I sent to you saying, Come here, so that I may send you to the king to say, Why have I come back from Geshur? it would be better for me to be there still: let me now see the king's face, and if there is any sin in me, let him put me to death.
And Abessalom said to Joab, Behold, I sent to thee, saying, Come hither, and I will send thee to the king, saying, Why did I come out of Gedsur? it would have been better for me to have remained there: and now, behold, I have not seen the face of the king; but if there is iniquity in me, then put me to death.

And Absalom said to Joab, Behold, I sent to thee, saying, Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say, Why am I come from Geshur? it would have been better for me to be there still. And now let me see the king's face; and if there be iniquity in me, let him slay me.
And Absalom answered Joab: I sent to thee beseeching thee to come to me, that I might send thee to the king, to say to him: Wherefore am I come from Gessur? it had been better for me to be there: I beseech thee therefore that I may see the face of the king: and if he be mindful of my iniquity, let him kill me.
“Look here,” said Absalom, “I sent for you, saying, ‘Come here. I want you to go to the king and ask: Why did I bother coming back from Geshur? It would have been better for me to stay there.’ So go and arrange for me to see the king, and if I'm guilty of anything, he can kill me.”
And Absalom answered Ioab, Beholde, I sent for thee, saying, Come thou hither, and I wil send thee to the King for to say, Wherefore am I come from Geshur? It had bene better for me to haue bene there still: nowe therefore let mee see the Kings face: and if there be any trespasse in me, let him kill me.
And Absalom answered Joab: 'Behold, I sent unto thee, saying: Come hither, that I may send thee to the king, to say: Wherefore am I come from Geshur? it were better for me to be there still; now therefore let me see the king's face; and if there be iniquity in me, let him kill me.'

And he said Absalom to Joab here! I sent to you - saying come here so let me send you to the king saying why? have I come from Geshur [was] good for me still I [was] there and therefore let me see [the] face of the king and if there in me [is] iniquity and he will kill me.

Absalom replied, “Because [you did not come to me when] I sent messages to you [requesting that you come]. I wanted to request that you go to the king to say to him, ‘Absalom (wants to know what good it did/says that is was useless) [RHQ] for him [RHQ] to leave Geshur and come here. [He thinks that] it would have been better for him to have stayed there. [He wants you to] allow him to talk to you. And if you think that he has done something that is wrong, you can [command that] he be executed.’”
Absalom answered Joab, “Look, I sent word to you saying, 'Come here so I may send you to the king to say, “Why did I come from Geshur? It would be better for me to still be there. Now therefore let me see the king's face, and if I am guilty, let him kill me.”'”

And Absalom saith unto Joab, 'Lo, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, and I send thee unto the king to say, Why have I come in from Geshur? — good for me while I [am] there — and now, let me see the king's face, and if there is in me iniquity then thou hast put me to death.'

Absalon dit à Joab. Je t'ai envoyé querir, disant: Viens chez moi, je veux t'envoyer dire au roi: Pourquoi ai-je quitté Gedsur? J'ai trouvé doux de rentrer en ma demeure, mais je ne vois point la face du roi. S'il y a en moi une iniquité, que l'on me mette à mort.
