He walked in the way of the kings of Israel, as did Ahab’s house, for he married Ahab’s daughter. He did that which was evil in the LORD’s sight.

His wife was the daughter of King Ahab. And like everyone in Ahab’s family, he continually did the evil things that the previous kings of Israel had done. He did things that Yahweh considered to be evil.

Και περιεπάτησεν εν τη οδώ των βασιλέων του Ισραήλ, καθώς έπραξεν ο οίκος του Αχαάβ· διότι η θυγάτηρ του Αχαάβ ήτο γυνή αυτού· και έπραξε πονηρά ενώπιον του Κυρίου.
καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἐν ὁδῷ βασιλέων Ισραηλ καθὼς ἐποίησεν οἶκος Αχααβ ὅτι θυγάτηρ Αχααβ ἦν αὐτῷ εἰς γυναῖκα καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον κυρίου

वह इस्राएल के राजाओं की सी चाल चला, जैसे अहाब का घराना चलता था, क्योंकि उसकी स्त्री अहाब की बेटी थी; और वह उस काम को करता था जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा था।

És járt az Izráel királyainak útján, a miképen cselekedtek volt az Akháb házából valók; mert az Akháb leánya volt a felesége, és gonoszul cselekedék az Úr szemei előtt.

അദ്ദേഹം ആഹാബിന്റെ ഒരു മകളെയാണ് വിവാഹംചെയ്തിരുന്നത്. അതിനാൽ ആഹാബുഗൃഹം ചെയ്തതുപോലെതന്നെ അദ്ദേഹവും ഇസ്രായേൽരാജാക്കന്മാരുടെ വഴികളിൽ ജീവിച്ചു. യെഹോരാം യഹോവയുടെ ദൃഷ്ടിയിൽ തിന്മ പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു.
