2-Kings 7:12
The king arose in the night, and said to his servants, “I will now show you what the Syrians have done to us. They know that we are hungry. Therefore they have gone out of the camp to hide themselves in the field, saying, ‘When they come out of the city, we shall take them alive, and get into the city.’”

| فَقَامَ ٱلْمَلِكُ لَيْلًا وَقَالَ لِعَبِيدِهِ: «لَأُخْبِرَنَّكُمْ مَا فَعَلَ لَنَا ٱلْأَرَامِيُّونَ. عَلِمُوا أَنَّنَا جِيَاعٌ فَخَرَجُوا مِنَ ٱلْمَحَلَّةِ لِيَخْتَبِئُوا فِي حَقْلٍ قَائِلِينَ: إِذَا خَرَجُوا مِنَ ٱلْمَدِينَةِ قَبَضْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَحْيَاءً وَدَخَلْنَا ٱلْمَدِينَةَ». |
| فَنَهَضَ الْمَلِكُ لَيْلاً وَقَالَ لِضُبَّاطِهِ: «لأُخْبِرَنَّكُمْ مَا صَنَعَ الآرَامِيُّونَ! لَقَدْ أَدْرَكُوا أَنَّنَا نَتَضَوَّرُ جُوعاً، فَهَجَرُوا الْمُعَسْكَرَ لِيَخْتَبِئُوا فِي الْحُقُولِ، حَتَّى إِذَا خَرَجْنَا مِنَ الْمَدِينَةِ يَنْقَضُّونَ عَلَيْنَا وَيَأْسِرُونَنَا أَحْيَاءً وَيَسْتَوْلُونَ عَلَى الْمَدِينَةِ». |
তেতিয়া ৰজাই ৰাতি উঠি তেওঁৰ দাসবোৰক ক’লে, “মই এতিয়া তোমালোকক ক’ম যে, অৰামীয়াসকলে আমালৈ কি কৰিছে। আমি যে ভোকত আছোঁ অৰামীয়াসকলে জানে আৰু সেইবাবে তেওঁলোকে ছাউনি এৰি পথাৰৰ মাজত গৈ লুকাই আছে। তেওঁলোকে ভাৱিছে, ‘ইস্রায়েলীয়াসকল যেতিয়া নগৰৰ পৰা ওলাই আহিব, তেতিয়া আমি তেওঁলোকক জীৱিত অৱস্থাতে ধৰিম আৰু তেওঁলোকৰ নগৰৰ ভিতৰত সোমাম’।”
Padşah gecə ikən qalxıb əyanlarına dedi: «Aramlıların bizə nə etmək istədiklərini indi sizə deyərəm: onlar bilirlər ki, biz acıq, buna görə də ordugahdan çıxıb çöldə gizlənmişlər və “şəhərdən çıxanda onları diri tutarıq və şəhərə girərik” deyə düşünürlər».

They know that we have no food here, so they have left their tents and are hiding in the fields. They think that we will leave the city [to find some food], and then they will capture us and capture the city.”

Sie wissen, daß wir hungrig sind und gingen aus von dem Lager, sich auf dem Felde zu verstecken, und sagten: So sie aus der Stadt herauskommen, wollen wir sie lebendig fassen und in die Stadt kommen.

Και σηκωθείς ο βασιλεύς την νύκτα, είπε προς τους δούλους αυτού, Τώρα θέλω φανερώσει προς εσάς τι έκαμον οι Σύριοι εις ημάς· εγνώρισαν ότι είμεθα πεινασμένοι και εξήλθον εκ του στρατοπέδου, διά να κρυφθώσιν εν τοις αγροίς, λέγοντες, Όταν εξέλθωσιν εκ της πόλεως, θέλομεν συλλάβει αυτούς ζώντας, και εις την πόλιν θέλομεν εισέλθει.
καὶ ἀνέστη ὁ βασιλεὺς νυκτὸς καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς τοὺς παῖδας αὐτοῦ ἀναγγελῶ δὴ ὑμῖν ἃ ἐποίησεν ἡμῖν Συρία ἔγνωσαν ὅτι πεινῶμεν ἡμεῖς καὶ ἐξῆλθαν ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς καὶ ἐκρύβησαν ἐν τῷ ἀγρῷ λέγοντες ὅτι ἐξελεύσονται ἐκ τῆς πόλεως καὶ συλλημψόμεθα αὐτοὺς ζῶντας καὶ εἰς τὴν πόλιν εἰσελευσόμεθα
ત્યારે રાજાએ રાત્રે ઊઠીને પોતાના ચાકરોને કહ્યું, “અરામીઓએ આપણને શું કર્યું છે તે હું તમને કહીશ. તે લોકો જાણે છે કે આપણે ભૂખ્યા છીએ, તેથી તેઓ છાવણી છોડીને ખેતરમાં સંતાઈ ગયા હશે. તેઓ વિચારતા હતા કે, ‘જયારે તેઓ નગરમાંથી બહાર આવશે ત્યારે આપણે તેઓને જીવતા પકડી લઈને નગરમાં જતા રહીશું.’”

Wa a te leve nan lannwit lan e li te di a sèvitè li yo: “Mwen va pale ou koulye a sa ke Siryen yo gen tan fè. Yo konnen ke nou grangou; pou sa, yo te kite kan an pou kache yo menm nan chan an. Y ap di: ‘Lè yo sòti lavil la, nou va kaptire yo vivan e antre nan vil la.’”
Sai sarki ya tashi da daren nan ya ce wa hafsoshinsa, “Na san abin da Arameyawan suke shiri! Sun san game da yunwar da muke ciki a nan, domin haka sun bar sansaninsu suka shiga jeji suka ɓuya, suna nufin sa’ad da muka fita daga birni, sai su kama mu da rai, sa’an nan su shiga birnin.”

तब राजा रात ही को उठा, और अपने कर्मचारियों से कहा, “मैं तुम्हें बताता हूँ कि अरामियों ने हम से क्या किया है? वे जानते हैं, कि हम लोग भूखे हैं इस कारण वे छावनी में से मैदान में छिपने को यह कहकर गए हैं, कि जब वे नगर से निकलेंगे, तब हम उनको जीवित ही पकड़कर नगर में घुसने पाएँगे।”
राजा रात में ही उठ गया और अपने सेवकों से कहा, “मैं तुम्हें बता रहा हूं कि अरामियों ने हमारे साथ क्या किया है उन्हें यह मालूम है कि हम भूखे हैं. इसलिये वे छावनी को खाली छोड़ मैदान में जा छिपे हैं. ‘उनका विचार है कि जब हम नगर से बाहर निकलेंगे, वे हमें जीवित पकड़कर नगर में ले आएंगे.’”

Erre fölkelt a király éjjel és szólt a szolgáihoz: Hadd mondjam meg csak nektek, mit tettek velünk az Arámbeliek. Tudják, hogy éhesek vagyunk, kimentek tehát a táborból, hogy elrejtőzzenek a mezőn, mondván: mikor kimennek a városból, elfogjuk őket elevenen és bemegyünk a városba.

Pada waktu itu hari masih malam, tetapi raja keluar juga dari kamar tidurnya dan berkata kepada para pegawainya, "Dengarkan! Aku tahu rencana orang-orang Siria itu! Mereka tahu kita sedang kelaparan, karena itu mereka meninggalkan perkemahan dan pergi bersembunyi di padang untuk memancing kita keluar mencari makanan. Sesudah itu mereka akan menyergap kita dan menduduki kota."
Sekalipun masih malam, raja bangun juga, lalu berkata kepada para pegawainya: "Baiklah kuterangkan kepadamu apa maksud orang Aram itu terhadap kita. Mereka tahu bahwa kita ini menderita kelaparan, sebab itu mereka keluar dari tempat perkemahan untuk menyembunyikan diri di padang, sambil berpikir: Apabila orang Israel keluar dari dalam kota, kita akan menangkap mereka hidup-hidup, kemudian kita masuk ke dalam kota."

Il re si alzò di notte e disse ai suoi ufficiali: «Vi dirò quello che hanno fatto con noi gli Aramei. Sapendo che siamo affamati, hanno abbandonato il campo per nascondersi in campagna, dicendo: Appena usciranno dalla città, li prenderemo vivi e poi entreremo in città».
E il re si levò nella notte, e disse ai suoi servi: “Vi voglio dire io quel che ci hanno fatto i Siri. Sanno che patiamo la fame; sono quindi usciti dal campo a nascondersi per la campagna, dicendo: Come usciranno dalla città, li prenderemo vivi, ed entreremo nella città”.
王夜の中に興いでてその臣下に言けるは我スリア人が我儕になせる所の如何を汝等に示さん彼等はわれらの饑たるを知が故に陣營を去て野に隱る是はイスラエル人邑を出なば生擒て邑に推いらんと言て然せるなり
王は夜のうちに起きて、家来たちに言った、「スリヤびとがわれわれに対して図っている事をあなたがたに告げよう。彼らは、われわれの飢えているのを知って、陣営を出て野に隠れ、『イスラエルびとが町を出たら、いけどりにして、町に押し入ろう』と考えているのだ」。

ಅರಸನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿವಾರದವರಿಗೆ, “ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಕೇಳಿ. ನಾವು ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಬಲ್ಲರು. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪಾಳೆಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಜೀವಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿಯೇ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.”
ಅರಸನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಪರಿವಾರದವರಿಗೆ, “ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಉಪಾಯವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನಾವು ಹಸಿವೆಯಿಂದ ಸಾಯುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂಬುವುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ಬಲ್ಲರು. ಆದುದರಿಂದ ಪಾಳೆಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಾವು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹೋದ ಕೂಡಲೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಜೀವ ಸಹಿತವಾಗಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂದನು.

Un ķēniņš cēlās naktī un sacīja uz saviem kalpiem: es jums teikšu, ko Sīrieši mums darījuši. Tie zina, ka mēs esam badā, tāpēc tie no lēģera ir izgājuši apslēpties laukā, domādami: ja tie no pilsētas nāks ārā, tad mēs tos grābsim dzīvus un ielauzīsimies pilsētā.

І встав цар уночі й сказав своїм слу́гам: „Розкажу́ я вам, що́ нам зробили сирійці. Вони знають, що ми голодні, і повихо́дили з табо́ру, щоб схова́тися на полі, говорячи: „Коли ті повихо́дять із міста, то ми схо́пимо їх живих, та й уві́йдемо до міста!“
तब बादशाह रात ही को उठा, और अपने ख़ादिमों से कहा कि “मैं तुम को बताता हूँ, अरामियों ने हम से क्या किया है? वह खू़ब जानते हैं कि हम भूके हैं; इसलिए वह मैदान में छिपने के लिए लश्करगाह से निकल गए हैं, और सोचा है कि जब हम शहर से निकलें तो वह हम को ज़िन्दा पकड़ लें, और शहर में दाख़िल हो जाएँ।”
