Elisha came again to Gilgal. There was a famine in the land; and the sons of the prophets were sitting before him; and he said to his servant, “Get the large pot, and boil stew for the sons of the prophets.”

| وَرَجَعَ أَلِيشَعُ إِلَى الْجِلْجَالِ. بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ عَمَّتِ الْمَجَاعَةُ الْبِلاَدَ. وَفِيمَا كَانَ بَنُو الأَنْبِيَاءِ مُجْتَمِعِينَ مَعَ أَلِيشَعَ، قَالَ لِخَادِمِهِ: «اسْلُقْ بَعْضَ السَّلِيقَةِ فِي الْقِدْرِ الْكَبِيرَةِ لِبَنِي الأَنْبِيَاءِ». |

એલિશા ફરી ગિલ્ગાલ આવ્યો. તે સમયે તે દેશમાં દુકાળ હતો. અને પ્રબોધકોના દીકરાઓ તેની આગળ બેઠા હતા. ત્યારે તેણે પોતાના ચાકરને કહ્યું, “એક મોટું તપેલું અગ્નિ પર ચઢાવીને પ્રબોધકોના દીકરાઓ માટે રસાવાળું શાક બનાવ.”
