2-Kings 23:16
As Josiah turned himself, he spied the tombs that were there in the mountain; and he sent, and took the bones out of the tombs, and burned them on the altar, and defiled it, according to the LORD’s word which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these things.

| وَتَلَفَّتَ الْمَلِكُ يُوشِيَّا حَوْلَهُ فَشَاهَدَ مَقَابِرَ مُنْتَشِرَةً عَلَى الْجَبَلِ، فَأَرْسَلَ وَجَمَعَ عِظَامَهَا وَأَحْرَقَهَا عَلَى الْمَذْبَحِ، وَنَجَّسَهُ تَتْمِيماً لِقَضَاءِ الرَّبِّ الَّذِي نَطَقَ بِهِ رَجُلُ اللهِ بِشَأْنِ مَذْبَحِ يَرُبْعَامَ. |

তারপর তিনি চারপাশে তাকিয়ে দেখলেন এবং পাহাড়ের কাছে কিছু কবর দেখতে পেলেন। তিনি তাঁর লোক পাঠিয়ে সেই কবর থেকে হাড় আনিয়ে সেগুলো যজ্ঞবেদীর উপর পোড়ালেন এবং সেটি অশূচি করলেন। সদাপ্রভুর সেই কথা অনুযায়ী সবই হয়েছিল যা ঈশ্বরের লোক সব ঘটনার কথা আগে ঘোষণা করেছিলেন।
পরে যোশিয় চারপাশে তাকিয়েছিলেন, আর যখন তিনি পাহাড়ের পাশে কয়েকটি কবর দেখতে পেয়েছিলেন, তখন তিনি সেগুলি থেকে অস্থি বের করে এনে যজ্ঞবেদিটি কলুষিত করার জন্য সেটির উপরে সেগুলি পুড়িয়েছিলেন। এসবই হল সদাপ্রভুর ঘোষণা করে দেওয়া সেই কথানুসারে, যে বিষয়ে ঈশ্বরের লোক আগেই ভাববাণী করে দিলেন।

Toen Josias zich nu omkeerde, en de graven in de berg bemerkte, liet hij de beenderen eruit nemen en op het altaar verbranden. Zo ontwijdde hij dit volgens het woord van Jahweh, dat de godsman had gesproken, toen Jeroboam op het feest bij het altaar stond. Maar toen hij zijn blikken sloeg op het graf van den godsman, die dit alles voorspeld had,

Then Josiah looked around and saw some tombs there on the hill. He commanded his men to take the bones out of those tombs and burn them on the altar. By doing that, he desecrated the altar. That was what a prophet had predicted many years before when Jeroboam was standing close to that altar at a festival. Then Josiah looked up and saw the tomb of the prophet who had predicted that.
As Josiah looked over the area, he noticed the graves that were on the hillside. He sent men to take the bones from the graves; then he burned them on the altar, which defiled it. This was according to the word of Yahweh which the man of God had spoken, the man who spoke of these things beforehand.

Maka terjadilah apa yang telah diramalkan dahulu oleh nabi TUHAN ketika Raja Yerobeam sedang berdiri dekat mezbah itu pada suatu perayaan. Setelah itu Raja Yosia melihat sebuah kuburan lain lagi.
Dan ketika Yosia berpaling, dilihatnyalah kuburan-kuburan yang ada di gunung di sana, lalu menyuruh orang mengambil tulang-tulang dari kuburan-kuburan itu, membakarnya di atas mezbah dan menajiskannya, sesuai dengan firman TUHAN yang telah diserukan oleh abdi Allah yang telah menyerukan hal-hal ini.

അതിനുശേഷം യോശിയാവു ചുറ്റും നോക്കി, ആ മലയുടെ ചരിവിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന ശവകുടീരങ്ങൾ അദ്ദേഹം കണ്ടു. തന്നോട് ഇക്കാര്യങ്ങളെല്ലാം പ്രവചിച്ച ആ ദൈവപുരുഷന്റെ വാക്കുകളിലൂടെ ലഭിച്ച യഹോവയുടെ നിർദേശമനുസരിച്ച്, യോശിയാവ് ആ ശവകുടീരങ്ങളിൽനിന്ന് മനുഷ്യാസ്ഥികൾ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് ആ ബലിപീഠങ്ങളിന്മേലിട്ടു ചുട്ട് അവയെ മലിനമാക്കി.

Khi Giô-si-a nhìn quanh thấy trên đồi có những nấm mồ, liền sai người đào lấy xương, đem đốt trên bàn thờ để làm nó ô uế. (Đúng như lời Chúa Hằng Hữu dùng người của Đức Chúa Trời loan báo trước khi Giê-rô-bô-am đứng bên bàn thờ trong kỳ lễ).
