2-Chronicles 7:21
This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?’

| وَهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتُ ٱلَّذِي كَانَ مُرْتَفِعًا، كُلُّ مَنْ يَمُرُّ بِهِ يَتَعَجَّبُ وَيَقُولُ: لِمَاذَا عَمِلَ ٱلرَّبُّ هَكَذَا لِهَذِهِ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَلِهَذَا ٱلْبَيْتِ؟ |
| وَيَغْدُو هَذَا الْهَيْكَلُ الَّذِي كَانَ شَامِخاً عِبْرَةً يُثِيرُ عَجَبَ كُلِّ مَنْ يَمُرُّ بِهِ، فَيَتَسَاءَلُ: لِمَاذَا صَنَعَ الرَّبُّ هَكَذَا بِهَذِهِ الأَرْضِ وَبِهَذَا الْهَيْكَلِ؟ |

আর এই গৃহ উঁচু হলেও যে কেউ এর কাছ দিয়ে যাবে, সে চমকে উঠবে ও জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, ‘এই দেশের ও এই গৃহের প্রতি সদাপ্রভু কেন এরকম করেছেন?’
এই মন্দিরটি ভাঙা ইটপাথরের এক স্তূপে পরিণত হবে। যারা যারা তখন এখান দিয়ে যাবে, তারা সবাই মর্মাহত হয়ে বলবে, ‘সদাপ্রভু কেন এই দেশের ও এই মন্দিরটির প্রতি এমনটি করলেন?’

Et cette demeure superbe, le passant, à son aspect, sera frappé de stupeur, et il s'écriera: Quel sujet a donc eu le Seigneur pour traiter ainsi leur terre et ce temple?
et cette maison placée à un si haut rang ne produira plus que stupeur chez tout venant; et quand on dira: "Pourquoi le Seigneur a-t-il traité ainsi ce pays et ce temple?"

daß jedermann, der an diesem Hause, welches das höchste gewesen ist, vorübergeht, sich entsetzen und sagen wird: Warum ist der HERR mit diesem Lande und diesem Hause also verfahren?

Και ο οίκος ούτος, όστις έγεινε τόσον υψηλός, θέλει είσθαι έκστασις εις πάντας τους διαβαίνοντας παρ' αυτόν· και θέλουσι λέγει, Διά τι ο Κύριος έκαμεν ούτως εις την γην ταύτην και εις τον οίκον τούτον;
καὶ ὁ οἶκος οὗτος ὁ ὑψηλός πᾶς ὁ διαπορευόμενος αὐτὸν ἐκστήσεται καὶ ἐρεῖ χάριν τίνος ἐποίησεν κύριος τῇ γῇ ταύτῃ καὶ τῷ οἴκῳ τούτῳ
અને જોકે અત્યારે આ સભાસ્થાનનું ગૌરવ ઘણું છે તોપણ તે સમયે પસાર થનારાઓ આશ્ચર્ય પામીને પૂછશે, ‘ઈશ્વરે આ દેશ અને આ સભાસ્થાનની આવી દુર્દશા શા માટે કરી હશે?’

| והבית הזה אשר היה עליון לכל עבר עליו ישם ואמר במה עשה יהוה ככה לארץ הזאת ולבית הזה׃ |
| וְהַבַּיִת הַזֶּה אֲשֶׁר הָיָה עֶלְיוֹן לְכָל־עֹבֵר עָלָיו יִשֹּׁם וְאָמַר בַּמֶּה עָשָׂה יְהוָה כָּכָה לָאָרֶץ הַזֹּאת וְלַבַּיִת הַזֶּֽה׃ |

यह भवन जो इतना विशाल है, उसके पास से आने-जानेवाले चकित होकर पूछेंगे, ‘यहोवा ने इस देश और इस भवन से ऐसा क्यों किया है?’
यह भवन खंडहरों का ढेर होकर रह जाएगा. तब हर एक व्यक्ति, जो उनके पास से होकर जाएगा चकित हो सांस ऊपर खींच यह कह उठेगा, ‘क्यों उन्होंने याहवेह अपने परमेश्वर को भुला दिया था?’

Riguardo a questo tempio, gia così eccelso, chiunque vi passerà vicino stupirà e dirà: Perché il Signore ha agito così con questo paese e con questo tempio?
Chiunque passerà vicino a questa casa, già così eccelsa, stupirà e dirà: Perché l’Eterno ha egli trattato in tal guisa questo paese e questa casa?
且又この家は高くあれども終にはその傍を過る者は皆これに驚きて言んヱホバ何故に此地に此家に斯なしたるやと
またこの宮は高いけれども、ついには、そのかたわらを過ぎる者は皆驚いて、『何ゆえ主はこの地と、この宮とにこのようにされたのか』と言うであろう。
